Guess game There are many places in the school. What are they? Lets guess. T: There are some desks and chairs in it. We can have lessons in it. Where is it? S: Classroom. T: You are right. Are there any classrooms in our school? S: Yes, there are.Step 2 Learn the new words and sentences1. Learn the new words 以Guess game的游戏,同法教授新单词:art room, library, playground, computer room, music room2. Read the new words3. 新授句型:Is/Are there.? Yes, there is/are. No, there isnt/arent. 教师PPT出示学校平面示意图,结合新授单词,对学校场所进行问答。T:Is there a library?S:Yes, there is.T:Are there any table tennis rooms?S:No, there arent.Ask and answer in pairs.4. 教授序数词:first, second, third及句型Its/Theyre on the.floor.(引导学生对教师进行提问) S:Is there a computer room? In the US, this is the first floor.3、 激发学生热爱校园热爱班级的情感。课前准备挂图,卡片,多媒体课件等教学过程Step 1 Free talkIs there a TV in the classroom?Is there a computer at school?Are there 30 classrooms at school?How many.?Can you show me around our classroom?There is a./There are some.Step 2 Presentation and practice1. 同学们分组讨论教室的布置,并运用所学句型进行介绍。2. 看图说话教师要求学生仔细观察图片,然后用there be 句型的肯定式对教室内的物品进行描述。教师可以鼓励学生运用第一单元和以前学过的介词,使表达更准确。S1:There is a computer on the teachers desk.S2:There is a blackboard on the wall.S3:There are eight desks and chairs in the classroom.S4:There is a bookshelf in front of the window.3. 两人一组,问答活动。教师安排学生两人一组,仿照范例进行问答活动。4.同学们看图介绍课本上的教室布置。This is Nancys classroom in her new school.How many desks and chairs are there in the classroom?Is there a computer?Are there any pictures?5.同学们创设自己喜爱的教室并向老师和同学介绍自己的构思。6.Sound time字母C的发音本版块呈现了辅音字母C在单词中的发音/s/。可以用对比的方法,引导学生总结字母C在单词中的发音规律,即,C在元音字母a,o,u前发/k/,在e,i,y前发/s/。Cinema, dance, ice cream, juice, niceAlice and I sing and dance,And drink some nice juice!Then we go to the cinema,And have a nice ice cream!教学过程7.教师示范朗读单词,也可以请发音较好的学生做示范。提醒其他学生边听边体会,找出这些单词含有的相同音素。8.学生跟着磁带有节奏地朗读,教师让学生想一想还有哪些单词有类似的发音。9.Culture time该板块呈现的是英美人关于楼层表达的差异。通过图片展示让学生了解In the UK, this is the ground floor. 在英国,这是一楼。In the US, this is the first floor.在美国,这是一楼。让学生自己来说一说我们中国的楼房和国外的有什么区别。(在英语中,一直有英国英语和美国英语之说。同一个事物和概念,英国英语和美国英语表达会有不同。为了符合世界上大多数地区的习惯说法,同时也便于学生学习和掌握,我们在教材中选用了美国英语的表达方法。)Step 3 Consolidation1. Play a game(1)用准备好的4幅图,让学生自己进行问答来猜一猜:Is there a.?Are there any.?学生告知:Yes, there is./No, there isnt. Yes, there are./No, there arent.2.
