Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing 教学设计 广宗县广宗镇中心小学 卫冠琼一、教学目标: 1.知识与技能: (1). The students work toward mastering (saying ,recognizing and using orally) this vocabulary: Children people many(此三个为复数概念) everyone(第三人称单数) (2) .They practice and can recognize these words: Man men woman women baby babies (3). They can understand and respond to the important sentences: Who are these ? These are . What are they doing ? They are . 2.过程与方法: 整个课堂以模拟坐火车为情境进行教学,采用师生交流式、体验式等多种学习方式,通过设计表演等环节使学生理解掌握词汇及句型。 3.情感态度与价值观: 培养学生较好的文化意识与英语语感。教师与学生之间交流,情景体验。爱北京和爱祖国教育。 二、能力目标: 1. 使学生能练习写说、写相关名词的复数形式的句子。 2. 培养以旧带新掌握一定的语言技巧的能力。 三、 教学重点: 1. Words: men, women, children, people, many, everyone 2. Phrases:arrive in, , there are, buy tickets. 3. Sentences: (1) These are men/women/children/people. (2) Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs. Li arrive in Beijing at 2:00 in the afternoon. (3) Everyone is tired and hungry.教学难点:1. people in the train station 2. There are many people in the Beijing train Station.3. Can you find the children playing cards? 四、教具准备:Computer, cards 五、教学过程: Step1: Greetings and review.1.GreetingsT : Hello, boys and girls .Ss: Hello, teacher.T : How are you today?Ss: Im fine, thanks. How are you?T : Im very well, thank you. Hows the weather today?Ss:Its sunny.T :On a sunny day,I want to go on a trip to Beijing.Im very happy. Are you happy? Lets have a chant.OK?Ss: OK.(通过课前师生的亲切交流,回忆复习上节课教学内容,使学生集中注意力,尽快参与到课堂活动中来。)2.Chant:“What can you see?”教师和学生借助“chant”的形式,复习前面学到的知识。T : Lets enjoy Look and say.What can you see in the picture?Ss: train station the Palace Museum , the Great Wall,Bird Nest,Water cube, the Summer Palace, Beihai Park Beijing is the capital city of China. We love Beijing.通过呈现北京火车站的ppt课件,向学生介绍本课的课题名称。T: Where am I? S: I am in Beijing.T: Where is it?Ss. Its a train Station.T: Its Beijing Train Station. There are many people there.T: Danny, Li Ming, Li Ming and Mrs. Li arrive in Beijing . What do they see? Lets look at the book lesson 9 Arriving in Beijing.出示图片men, women, children, people, many1. Ten students show the new words. Then students correct, finally teacher corrects. men( ) women( ) children( ) people( ) many( ) everyone ( )arrive in( ) people in the train station( ) there are( ) buy tickets( )2. Write the words on the blackboard.man men , woman women, child children 3. T:What can you find from the three pairs?Ss: man women child 都表示单数的人,men women children 表示许多的人,是复数.T: Well done. Attention. In the word“children”, there is a “ren”.Men, women and children are people. People , do you know ? 4.出示图片,介绍几个复数名词的不规则变化。T: From the picture we know nouns have rules, but some words are different. Like: foot child woman man.(课件展示:这几个单词的复数名词变化不规则。)T: What can you see in the picture?S: A child.T: What is the child doing?S: The child is playing.T: Now, What can you see in the picture?S: Two children.T: What are the children doing?S: The children are playing.设计思路:从上一环节的总结中引出今天新授的三个单词children women men,这三个单词并没有规律变化,出示图片,并把单词引入句型中。5.出示PPT出示man图,T: What can you see in the Beijing Train Station? What is this?Ss:This is aone man.板书man,用卡片操练单词和句型。出示men图, T:Is this a man? Ss:No. T: What are these?Ss:These are men.板书men,男女生轮读,分行读。在板书中从音形两方面区别man和men.T: How many men? Lets count .One,two,three,four.Four men.Many,many men.Read after me.利用事先准备的尺子、橡皮等实物,引导学生说出many rulerserasersdeskschairsbooks.出示woman图, T:Who is this ? This is a woman./ This is one woman. I am a woman,too.板书woman,再拿卡片找生读。出示women图, T: What are these?Ss:These are women.T: How many women?Ss: 5 women.通过手势让学生说出many women.板书women, 在板书中从音形两方面区别woman和women.逐一出示boy and girl图, T: Who is this ?Ss: This is a boy.T:A boy is a child.T: Who is this?Ss: This is a girl.T:A girl is a child ,too.板书child.出示children图, T:What are these?Ss: These are boys and girls. Boys and girls are children.板书children, 在板书中从音形两方面区别child和children。利用黑板上的单词,将其men,women和children归纳为people一大类。(8)表演Chant:This is a man,man,man,man.These are men,men,men,men.This is a woman,woman,woman,woman.These are women,women,women,women.设计意图:运用歌谣、游戏等巩固单词复数的使用。 Step3:Practice.1. Listen, fill and check.听录音,填空。1). A child is flying a kite. Some _ are _football.2). A young woman is _.Some old _ are _.3). A man is _.Some old _ are _ Tai Chi.2. Lets write. Introduce the picture and write. 介绍图片并写下来。 In our school, there are many clubs.
