Unit 4The MidAutumn Festival is coming第1课时课时目标1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语MidAutumn, mooncake, nuts,lotus seed , red bean , nearby , type, taste , centre 。2.句型:能用“Which type do you like?”询问他人对月饼的喜好及用“I like the ones with .”对该询问做出问答;能用“Id like a box of .”对不同口味的月饼做出选择。3.能指认不同口味的月饼:lotus seed/red bean mooncakes 。4.能谈论中秋节传统食物月饼,并针对不同口味做出选择。5.能听懂、会说A部分的对话。重点难点1.重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词MidAutumn, mooncake, nuts,lotus seed , red bean , nearby , type, taste ;能用“Which type do you like?”询问他人对月饼的喜好及用“I like the ones with .”对该询问做出问答。2.难点:运用旧知识,如对“How much.?”“Which one do you like?”等句型做出相应的回答。教学准备用于新授单词的卡片、图片,教学挂图,教学磁带等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。教学步骤教学内容一、热身/复习(Warmup /Revision)1.GreetingsT:Boys and girls , what date is it today ?Ss :Its .(根据实际日期回答。教师可合理安排教学进度,把本课调整至中秋节前上)2.Leadin教师用课件出示句子或板书:_is coming. (教师提示学生根据实际授课周的日历回答)Ss:Sunday/Weekend/.is coming .T:Well have a threeday holiday , because the MidAutumn Festival is coming !(板书标题并带读)二、新课呈现(Presentation)1.New words and new sentences(1)Brainstorming教师用课件或单词卡片出示单词和短语:today , English class , the MidAutumn Festival ,让学生思考,用以上词汇说出不同的句子。S1:I like English class . Today ,we are talking about the MidAutumn Festival ./ .T:The MidAutumn Festival is coming . Today , we have an English class ,and we are talking about the MidAutumn Festival .(答案不唯一,教师可根据学生的回答灵活调整,但最好能运用标题句子)(2)Quick response教师用课件或图片快速出示moon ,tea , fruit , family , mooncake 等,学生看图抢答,快速说出单词(从已学单词到新单词)。T:Whats this ?S1:Its a mooncake .(教师帮助学生回答,并操练新单词)T:What do you do at the MidAutumn Festival ?S2:We eat mooncakes/drink tea/eat fruits.(3)教学新单词,并操练句型。师生谈论月饼的味道,教师引导学生说出句子“Mooncakes taste sweet/soft/good/.”二、新课呈现(Presentation)(续)教师出示不同口味的月饼,图片或实物均可,谈论并学习新单词:type,nuts,lotus seed,red bean 。T:Which type do you like ?S1:I like the ones with.(教师帮助学生回答,并操练新单词)词汇操练:猜来猜去Which word in my mind ?教师在心里想一种月饼,如 lotus seed/ red bean mooncakes , 或mooncakes with lotus seeds / red beans /meat /fruit,让学生猜自己想的是哪种,然后根据学生的猜测回答:“Yes!/No!”2.The text 第一步:Listen and answer不打开书,只听音,听音前,给出任务:(1)Whos shopping ?(2)Where do they go shopping ?第二步:Listen and find不打开书,听第二遍,听音前,给出任务:How many boxes of mooncakes does Mrs Li buy ?第三步:Read and find打开书,画出文中Mrs Li 问的2个问题,并检查刚才听到的是否正确。第四步:Read and answer(1)Which type does Binbin like ?(2)How much is a box of mooncakes ?(3)What types does Mrs Li buy ?第五步:Read and repeat教师播放录音,学生跟读,提醒学生注意模仿语音、语调,尤其是最后一幅图中的对话,要读出满足、惬意的语气。三、趣味操练(Practice)1.Group work :谁是最佳月饼销售员?(1)学生分组,组内成员利用教师提供的单词卡片(也可自制不同口味月饼的单词卡片),准备向其他学生展示不同口味的月饼。(2)学生向全班同学展示卡片,并向他们介绍月饼的口味。S1:This is a box of lotus seed mooncakes.S2:This is a box of red bean mooncakes.S3:This is a box of mooncakes with nuts.(3)试着向同学们推销月饼吧!S1:These mooncakes taste good .Which type do you like?Customer :How much is a box of lotus seed mooncakes ?S1:Its .yuan.Customer :Its too expensive.S1:.(4)全班合作,评选出最佳月饼销售员和最佳顾客。2.情境创设:中秋节快到了,Tim和妈妈去超市买月饼,准备利用假期去看望爷爷和奶奶。Tim:Mum,look ! So we can buy . boxes .第2课时课时目标1.词汇:进一步巩固、运用新单词MidAutumn, mooncake, nuts,lotus seed , red bean , taste;能听懂、理解新单词poem, gift 。2.句型:能运用“I enjoy .”表达自己的喜好。3.语法:能理解、运用“enjoy doing.”。4.能在中秋茶话会的情境中自由表达自己的喜好。5.能理解课文D部分的故事。6.能运用有效的阅读策略阅读D部分的文章并回答问题。重点难点1.重点:理解、运用句型“I enjoy .”;能学会运用阅读技巧scanning进行阅读。2.难点:能在实际生活中会运用“I enjoy .”来谈论自己的喜好; 能在运用中注意到enjoy后面的doing这一动词形式。教学准备单词卡片,教学VCD等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。教学步骤教学内容一、热身/复习(Warmup /Revision)1.Greetings2.Brainstorming教师出示思维导图,核心单词是the MidAutumn Festival , 四周出示首字母m , t , n 等,让学生根据首字母说出完整单词,如mooncake, tea ,nuts 等,以此复习上节课学习的新单词及其他与中秋节有关词。二、新课呈现(Presentation)1.Part C :Lets practise(1)游戏操练:接龙。教师出示与本课有关的单词卡片,进行句子操练,比一比哪组说的句子多。如:T:A mooncake.S1:A round mooncake .S2:Its a round mooncake .S3:Its a round mooncake . Its sweet.S4:Its a round mooncake . Its sweet. It tastes good .S5:Its a round mooncake . Its sweet. It tastes good . I like eating it .(2)情境创设:中秋茶话会。教师用课件或卡片出示圆月、月饼、赏月诗、家人团聚等图片,让学生感受中秋节气氛。T:Do you enjoy looking at the moon ?S1:Yes , I do ./ No , I dont .T:What do you enjoy doing at the MidAutumn Festival ?S2:I enjoy eating mooncakes .S3:I enjoy reading poems .(教师帮助学生回答并理解 poem ).(3)句型操练:志趣相投的人。教师让学生运用句型“I enjoy doing .”写出中秋节自己喜欢做的事情,可以是一个或多个句子。完成后,请学生拿着自己的句子和同学交流,找到和自己的句子相同或相似的人,则说明你们彼此有共同爱好,是志趣相投的朋友。(4)交流与分享:向全班同学展示你找到的志趣相投的朋友,并告诉大家,你们的哪些喜好是相同或相似的,朗读你们的句子。二、新课呈现(Presentation)(续)2.Part D :Lets read第一步:Look and sayWho/What can you see in the picture ?第二步:Read and find找出含“enjoy doing”的句子。第三步:Read and answer(1)Who are “WE” in the sentence above ?(针对第二步找出的句子回答)(2)Who gave Grandfather a gift?(3)When did Grandfather open the box ?第四步:Think and answer(1)How many mooncakes did they eat ?(2)How many boxes did Grandfather open?三、趣味操练(Practice)1.好奇大调查:教师为学生准备两个话题:fruit和 sports , 针对这两个话题在班级展开大调查。T:Do you enjoy eating fruit ? What fruit do you enjoy eating ?Do you enjoy doing sports ?Do you enjoy playing basketball?S1:I enjoy eating apples/.I enjoy playing football/.也可由学生分组调查后进行汇报。2.Group work:几人一组,把D 部分改编成对话,并表演:如:Grandfather:Look !
