Theyve got some ability of listening, speaking and reading. According to the students standard, I make a text like this: “Look, Beijing is my favourite place. Its famous for the Great Wall, the Beijing Duck and the Beijing Opera. I can visit the Great Wall, eat the Beijing Duck and watch the Beijing Opera there. I love Beijing! ”Then I make the following aims: 1. Knowledge aims(1) To make students know the English name of some places: Eiffel tower, the Great wall, the Pearl Tower.(2) to make the students understand the text.(3) to make the students can use these sentences in real situations.“My favourite place is., Its famous for.”2. Ability aims(1) to make the students can express what their favourite place is.(2) can use the sentence patterns of this lesson, describe your favourite place.3. Emotion aims(1) to make the students know of some of the citys famous building, food and culture.(2) to guide the students to love their hometown(3) to guide the students to protect environment.Teaching key point is to make the students can use the sentence patterns of this lesson, describe their favourite place.Teaching difficult point is to make the students can use the sentence patterns of this lesson, describe their favourite place too.Secondly Ill show my teaching and learning methods.Situational Teaching and Multimedia Teaching will be used in this lesson.Situational teaching emphasizes the application of the language, makes the students to learn it truly. When the students in a relaxed scene, they will learn and use knowledge more easily and quickly.Multimedia includes images, sounds and text in CAI. It will make teaching more vivid to attract the attention of students.Thirdly, Id like to show my steps of the teaching and how I deal with the teaching procedureStep 1:Warm-up1. Greeting 2. Daily talk: 1) May I know your name? 2) Can you use one word to describe me?Purpose: By daily talk, it is easily to form a better English learning surrounding for our students. And at same time it provides some information to learned knowledge for the next step.Step 2:Presentation and practice “Whats your favourite place?”1. Discuss their favourite place and practice with the sentences: Whats your favourite place?2. Look at the pictures and learn some English names of some places.Purpose: This step is to provide a real situation to understand the meaning of the sentenses and to arouse the students interest in English learning. With the help of the pictures in CAI, our students can learn lots of words about the English name of some places. Step 3: Talk about Beijing.1. Use one word to describe Beijing. Its beautiful/ nice/ big.2. Whats Beijing famous for?3. Look at the pictures and try to say like this: Its famous for.4. Look at the pictures about Beijing, and discuss: What can you do in Beijing?5.
