Have the children try to understand the meaning of sentences.S: Open the books and try to understand the meaning.Step3:Pre-story activityT: Have the children try to read the dialogs and then talk about what happened.S: Try to read the dialogs and talk about it.T: Play the tape and have the children read the story after the tape.S: Read the story after the tape. T: Play the tape again and ask some questions and have the children try to understand the story.S: Try to understand the story.Step4:T: have the children read the dialogs in pairs.S: Read the dialogs in pairs.T: Have some students read the dialogs.S: Read the dialogs one by one. Step2:Learn the new words.T: Model the word and have the children repeat. Use the same procedure with the other words in the picture.S: Read the words after the teacher. T: Let student read the words again.S: read the words.T: Let students listen to the tape and point the new wordsS: listen and point.
