摘要 在辞书领域，工具书的价值最终是通过用户来实现的，词典用户长期以来都 是辞书编纂中不可或缺的一员。电子词典亦如此f 含光盘词典，在线词典和掌上 电子词典) 。随着辞书媒介从纸质到电子介质的转变、电子词典的日益兴起，下 述问题函待回答： 当前电子的词典的用户友善体现在什么方面? 目前电子词典的用户不友善体 现在什么方面? 电子词典为用户教育带来了什么新问题? 上述问题正是在近年来兴起的词典学用户研究中的几个基本概念：用户友善、 用户不友善和用户教育。本文把电子词典中的“用户友善”定义为以最简捷易读 的方式最大限度地满足词典用户的检阅需求；其另一面“用户不友善”则指当 前电子词典中存在的问题和不足；而“用户教育”旨在帮助读者发展适当的检索 技巧以最大限度地利用词典，发挥词典的应有功效。显然，用户友善、用户不友 善和用户教育是紧密联系的三个概念，均应得到应有的关注。 本文希望，对上述问题的探索研究，能够有助于今后电子辞书的编纂，并对 电子词典用户的检索技能提供一定的指导。 本文首先回顾了当前国内外对电子词典的研究，文献显示，多数是对电子词 典的用户友善特征进行简单、零散的描述，缺乏理论基础，无助于我们对电子词 典独有特色的理解。而且，电子词典特有的用户不友善特征和用户教育很少触及。 本文首次把麦克卢汉的媒介理论引入计算词典学领域用于对电子词典的评 估。依据麦氏的媒介理论、认知科学和交际理论的研究成果，本文尝试对当前电 子词典的用户友善、用户不友善和用户教育进行一个较为全面的探索评估。 具有电子时代的代言人之称的马歇尔麦克卢汉，其媒介理论为我们理解 评估电子词典的独有特色提供了一个全新的视角，对今后电子词典的编纂具有很 大启发。本文提出，麦氏的媒介理论能够为未来电子词典的编纂提供一定的理论 指导。依据本文的研究，作者以为，辞书媒介从纸质到电子介质的转变的确为电 子词典带来无可比拟的优势和特色；但是，当前电子词典的电子介质特色和优势 并未充分实现；词典学家和计算机软件专业人士必须加强通力合作：同时，理应 开展针对电子词典特有的用户教育，提高用户检索技能，以更有利于实现电子辞 v 书的价值。
