a p p r a i s a l t h e o r e t i ci n t e r p r e t a t i o no f g e n d e rd i f f e r e n c e si np u b l i cs p e e c h 中文摘要 语言与性别研究直是社会语言学所关注的主要课题之一。作为语言的一种 社会变体，男女语言的差别也许是人类语言差别的最古老形式。上世纪6 0 年代， 西方女权运动的兴起大大促进了语言性别差异的研究；随后4 0 年西方关于语言 与性别研究取得了较大的进展，主要理论学说包括缺陷论、支配论、差异论、礼 貌论和建构论，这些理论为语言的性别差异研究提供了丰富的视角。近来，话语 分析逐渐成为语言性别差异研究的一个焦点。 评价理论作为系统功能语言学的新发展，主要侧重于对话语赋值语义的研 究。该理论起源于h a l l i d a y 系统功能语法框架中的人际意义系统，经过近2 0 年 的发展，主要包括态度、介入和级差三大子系统；其中，各子系统又可以进一步 细化。评价理论主要通过对语言中态度、介入、级差资源的分析，评价语言使用 者对事态的立场、观点和态度。为了探究男女公众演讲中评价资源的分布特征以 及影响这种分布的因素，本文提出了如下三个研究问题： 1 ) 男女公众演讲中较常使用的评价资源有哪些? 劲男性和女性演讲中常用的评价资源分别有哪些? 3 ) 男性和女性演讲中在评价资源使用上是否存在差异? 如果存在，那么这 些差异在评价理论三大子系统中分别是如何体现的；影响这种分布的因 素又有哪些? 为回答以上问题，本文选取了男性和女性公众演讲语篇各8 篇，共计3 0 ，7 7 6 字，其中女性语篇1 4 ，7 7 8 字，男性语篇1 5 ，9 9 8 字。通过语料库工具软件c o r p u s t o o l 对这些语篇进行细致的定量和定性分析。具体研究结论如下： 首先，整体来看，在评价资源的三大子系统中介入资源的比例最高，其次是 态度资源。涉及到各子系统，介入子系统中话语紧缩资源的使用要多于话语扩展 资源，态度子系统和级差子系统中演讲者使用较多的是鉴赏资源和强化资源。 其次，无论在男性演讲还是女性演讲中，介入资源都占有较高比例。涉及到 不同性别演讲者对各子系统资源的使用，女性演讲中较常使用鉴赏、话语减缩和 话语扩展资源；男性演讲中则较常使用强化、话语减缩和扩展资源。 第三，基于上述分析，二者的相同点在于：整体上看，男女演讲者都偏爱使 a p p r a i s a l -
