武汉理工大学硕士学位论文 中文摘要 隐喻是一种普遍现象，人们每时每刻都在使用它。本文以莱考夫和约翰逊以 及福科尼尔的隐喻认知理论为基础，全面分析孟子中的隐喻现象，梳理归纳 出三种主要的隐喻：1 、“时雨是仁政”，“干旱是暴政”；2 、“君是轻，民是贵”； 3 、“江河”是浩然之气。通过对这些隐喻表达式的分析，揭示出其背后隐含的政 治主张、哲学追求。通过西方语言中的隐喻和汉语中的隐喻加以对比，将西方的 隐喻理论和中国的隐喻理论加以对比，才能真正比较全面的发现隐喻的构成和使 用特点，证实了莱考夫和约翰逊概念认知隐喻观在理解中国经典文献孟子中 的隐喻时同样可以适用，证明了它的正确性及其普遍意义，为概念隐喻提供了新 的例证。 本文在分析孟子中隐喻表达式的内涵的基础上，认为隐喻的产生是受制 于人类认知中的“规约关系”，这种“规约关系”使人们能够在交际中利用隐喻以最 简约的形式( 显性表达) 来表达最丰富的内涵，从而达到经济的目的。文章进而 对“规约关系”的运作机制进行了探索，认为客观事物之间存在的相邻关系及相似 关系是“规约关系”形成的最终原因，是隐喻产生的根本理据。 孟子中的概念隐喻对汉民族心理产生了“模具”作用，深深扎根于汉民族
