家和批评家经过大量的研究认为优秀的儿童文学作品中应该蕴含着娱乐、认知和德育三 方面的功能，这三个功能将对儿童的身心发展产生重要影响。小说译者陈伯吹先生在中 文版的前言中将这部作品广受欢迎的原因也归结为文艺性强、富有知识性、趣味性和可 贵的思想性。本文将根据国内外儿童文学专家对于儿童文学功能的研究，结合陈伯吹先 生的分析，深入细致地探讨怪医杜立特的娱乐、认知和德育功能的表现以及对于儿 童成长的影响。
