t i v eo r i e n t a t i o n 东大学硕。l ：学位论文 摘要 隐喻研究的历史源远流长，可以追溯到两千多年前的古希腊时期。此后，不同领 域的学者从各个不同的方面入手，对隐喻这一现象做了大量卓有成效的研究。韩礼德 提出的语法隐喻是系统功能语法理论的重要组成部分，同时也为进一步研究隐喻的本 质和功能做出了重要的贡献。语法隐喻理论的提出为隐喻研究提供了新的视角。 作为语法隐喻的一个组成部分，情态隐喻值得进一步研究。基于韩礼德提出的语 法隐喻在语言中普遍存在的事实，本文试图将韩礼德提出的情态隐喻理论应用于汉语 的研究中，并对英语和汉语中情态隐喻进行对比。 本文的语料是从曹禺先生的经典著作雷雨及其王佐良先生的英译本中获取。 作者从主观和客观两个方向对情态隐喻进行分析，目的是将对比呈现得更加清楚。本
