n j 山东大学硕十学位论文 鼍, , 一l l i i 鲁曼曼皇曼曼薯 摘要 头韵是英语中一种常见的语音修辞格，在各种文体中被广泛应用。但因为汉语中 没有相应的修辞格，因此在汉译过程中会有损失。就英语头韵的汉译而言，刘宓庆 ( 2 0 0 5 a ：1 0 9 ) 认为，语言深层结构和表层结构问不存在双语转换的信息通道，因此 翻译损失就不可避免了。翻译损失是指翻译过程中信息、意义、语用功能、文化因素、 审美形式及其功能的丧失。翻译补偿就是对翻译损失进行弥补的有效手段。 根据补偿位置可以分为原位补偿和异位补偿。本文从补偿位置的角度进一步讨论 了双声、四字格、叠字、尾韵、首字重复、对偶、谐音等补偿方式。 论文分为四章。第一章，在对头韵定义进行分析的基础上，把头韵分为五类，并 举例分析了头韵在不同文本中的运用和头韵的四种修辞价值，即衔接价值、象征价值、 音乐价值和记忆价值。 第二章回顾了作为头韵汉译理论基础的翻译补偿理论。头韵汉译过程中的损失使 ， 补偿成为必然。 第三章主要讨论了头韵汉译的重要补偿方式双声。汉语双声和英语头韵的不同 之处超过相同之处，因此，双声只能作为头韵汉译的一种补偿方式。 第四章从补偿位置的角度讨论了头韵汉译的其他补偿方式，包括四字格、叠字、
