摘要 摘要 幸福是人类社会最本质，历史最久远的价值体系和议题之一。人类从未停止 过对幸福的探讨与追寻。一部人类文明史，就是一部人类不断追求幸福的历史。 然而令人遗憾的是现代社会中许多民众缺乏对幸福的正确理解和追求；在不断增 长的物质诱惑，丰富多彩的文化和生活方式面前他们往往会迷失自我，找不到人 生方向。尽管说人类社会在物质和社会权利方面都己取得了长足的进步，但是人 们的幸福感却并未随其相应的增长。在日益繁重的社会和生活压力面前，人们显 得那么的茫然无助。正是基于这一现象，幸福议题值得人们对其进行进一步的审 视。该议题曾吸引过历史上众多哲学家和伦理家的关注，但他们无法对幸福的认 识达成共识，因而不能给世人以完全满意的解答。本文着力以历史分析角度为切 入点，从整体角度探讨幸福，其中重点关注何谓幸福，为什么要追寻幸福以及如 何实现幸福这几大基本问题，以引发人们对生命和存在的关注。 第一章简单介绍本文研究的主题一幸福，指出其在人类历史和现实生活中 所占的重要地位。 第二章围绕“什么是幸福”展开。因其自身的复杂性，人们很难定义幸福。 对幸福概念的理解可以是相对的，多角度的。 第三章从历史的角度阐述幸福论在西方文化背景，尤其是哲学领域中的发展 历程，收集和梳理出前人对幸福的诸多观点，如完全论，快乐论，禁欲主义，实 用主义等。 第四章进而分析现代社会存在的“幸福悖论”，即社会经济高速发展，但人 们的幸福感并未随之增长。在此文章将以美国小说家约翰契弗的短篇小说集所 描述的美国中产阶级的“幸福生活”为脚本，指出现代社会人们对幸福的种种思 考和疑虑。 第五章着眼于探讨幸福的实现，剖析幸福与决定其实现与否的内在和外在组 成因素之间的关系，其中包括德性与幸福，社会人际关系与幸福，工作与幸福， 挫折与幸福，财富与幸福。
