论文摘要 众所周知，汉语反身代词可以分为复合反身代词“代词+ 自己”和简单反身 代词“自己”。在约束特征和指称上，与英语反身代词相比，汉语反身代词，尤 其是简单反身代词“自己”表现出其独有的特性。本文以汉语反身代词为研究对 象对汉语反身代词，尤其是简单反身代词“自己”的约束特征作了说明分析。其 主要目的是探索造成这些独特性的原因，在句法学的领域里在乔姆斯基最简方案 的框架下，根据r e i n h a r tt a n y a r e u l a n de r i c ( 1 9 9 3 ) 对反身谓词所作的定 义，用特征核查理论对汉语简单反身代词在约束和指称上所表现出的独特性进行 解释和研究，并对被认为和英语反身代词相对应的汉语复合反身代词的约束和指 称特征进行解释说明，试图为汉语反身代词的约束和指称特征提供一个统一的解 释方法。 本文对汉语反身代词“自己”在约束和指称上所表现出的独特性的解释主 要是围绕以下三个问题展开的：第一，反身谓词是怎样形成的? 第二，反身谓词 的反身性特征【+ r e f l 】该怎样得到核查? 第三，在特征核查的过程中，“自己” 是怎样选择它的先行语的? 本文共分为四章。第一章对英语反身代词，汉语复合反身代词和汉语简单反 身代词的约束特征作了对比研究。第二章分另在管辖约束框架下和最简方案框架 下回顾了关于汉语简单反身代词“自己”约束特征的相关文献。第三章是本文为 解释汉语反身代词在约束和指称上所表现出的独特性所用的理论框架和解释方 法，也是本文的重点和亮点所在。第四章则是对第三章所提出的解释方法的具体 运用，并较为成功地解释了汉语反身代词约束特征的独特性。 根据r e i n h a r t 和r e u l a n d 对反身谓语所作的定义，本文认为反身谓语的反 身性必须得到反身代词的核查，这就需要反身代词在逻辑层面上移位至谓语动词 的标志语位置，也就是主语基础生成的位置，对谓语和主语的特征进行核查。本 文在第四章对汉语反身代词约束特征的独特性解释时发现汉语反身代词的约束 特征和指称特征是受谓词核查领域中的名词短语的p h i 特征支配的。 经过分析研究，本文认为汉语反身代词在约束特征上所具有的独特性是反身 谓词的核查领域内反身代词和其潜在的先行语之间在p
