间接请求言语行为的认知研究 学科专业：英语语占文学 指导教师：刘家荣教授 研究方向：语言学及现代英语 研究生：熊无昧( s 2 0 0 4 0 6 5 2 ) 内容摘要 本文主要从认知的角度对自j 接言语行为中的请求语言现象进行了分析和诠释。 在言语行为理论研究中，间接言语的阐述一直是个热点，也是个难点。传统的习语 论和推理论虽然在解释间接言语行为方面取得了很大的成就，具有广泛的影响力， 但也并不是无懈可击的。它对于人们在日常生活中实施及理解间接言语行为，尤其 是间接请求言语行为时的迅捷性及自然性并没有给出令人信服的解释：同时，它对 于诠释请求言语行为所涉及的推理模式，及该模式是如何激发等问题也缺乏系统的 说明。 而从认知的观点对间接言语行为中的请求占语行为进行研究就能够行之有效的 克服上述不足。我们认识整个世界的方式是映射在范畴罩，是通过对事物的分类， 思维抽象与加工，来进行概念活动的。范畴化是人类一种最基本的思维模式，尤其 在人类的日常生活中理解概念、意识、行为和言语起到了非常关键的作用。本文进 一步指出范畴是由一系列的自身特性决定的。特性占有数量的多少决定范畴中成员 的地位；越多则处于中心，我们称为范畴中的“原型”，反之，则处于范畴的边缘。 由于成员间地位的不平等性，在请求言语行为中，成员所具备的能力、礼貌、社会 关系、社会地位等范畴特性越多，越靠近请求言语行为原型，越容易被说话者所理 解，所涉及的推理模式就越简单( 转喻推理与言语行为场景) ，付出的推理努力也就越 小，反之亦然。通过特性因素来激活整个范畴，从而使会话人能够对问接言语行为 进行有效而迅速的操作来实现其会话意图，从而完成对白j 接请求占语行为的理解与 诠释。 本文通过对言语行为的优点分析表明，语言是人们以身体经验为基础将社会文 1 1 1 i
