t m a si nl i g h ti na u g u s t 摘要 本文根据马克思的劳动异化理论分析了八月之光中黑白混血儿乔这 一人物异化和反异化的过程及原因。乔孤独的生活方式，被异化的行为、习 惯以及他对家庭和爱情的冷漠态度无不表现出他被异化的性格。其异化的原 因主要有三点：种族歧视，加尔文主义和女人对他的影响。在反异化的过程 中，乔开始认识到自己肩负的责任，并接受了自己的身份。但是由于个人力 量的薄弱，乔不得不屈服于社会的强大力量而成为牺牲品、替罪羊。 通过对乔从异化到反异化过程的分析，本论文指出乔的人生悲剧是由复 杂的个人原因和社会原因造成的。如果当时的南方社会能对乔这样的人持有 一颗宽容之心，也许他的命运会截然不同。乔的悲剧并不局限于某个特定的 时空，而是对整个人类都具有普遍的现实意义。真正的和谐社会，应该是对
