摘要 摘要 大千世界，万物皆有其颜色。英汉语同为源远流长的语言，都有着非常丰富 的颜色词。颜色作为人类经验的重要组成部分，一直是语言学家研究的重点。认 知语言学中，范畴化的原型理论也是源于对颜色词的研究。目前，对颜色词以及 颜色词对比的研究都仅停留在构造和语义描写的层面上，鲜有人触及其背后的认 知机制，也就是缺乏系统全面对构造和语义的理据的解释。本研究试从认知语言 学的角度对英汉颜色词在其构造、隐喻意义及文化内涵等方面进行探讨分析，并 挖掘出其产生异同的认知理据。旨在帮助了解英汉颜色词的构造规律，隐喻意义 的异同，以及文化内涵的认知。同时加深对英汉语的认识，进一步了解语言的发 展规律。 本文采用原型范畴理论及隐喻象似性理论对英汉语颜色词进行分析比较，主 要分为以下三个方面：1 ) 结构。运用原型范畴理论分析英汉颜色词的词汇构造； 2 ) 隐喻意义。运用隐喻象似理论分析其隐喻异同，从内容上探究两者的隐喻象 似；3 ) 文化内涵。从功能上分析两者所诠释和表征的文化内涵。在找出其异同 之后，进一步探究背后的认知机制，找出两者异同的认知理据。 本文共分为六章，第一章为导入部分，对本文进行简要介绍，同时，界定了 本文的研究对象颜色词，并且讨论了写这篇论文的可能性和必要性。第二章 为文献综述，回顾了国内外关于本研究的前人研究成果。第三章为本文的理论基 础，介绍了认知语言学中的两个理论原型范畴理论和隐喻象似理论。第四章 为本文的主体。运用原型范畴理论和隐喻象似理论对英汉颜色词在结构、隐喻意 义、文化内涵进行对比。发现：在结构上，英汉语颜色词构词非常丰富，而且都 按照原型范畴理论中的蕴涵层级进行延伸和扩展。不同的是，英汉语分属形合语 言和意合语言，其构词方式有差异。英语多加词缀，而汉语多组合成词语；在隐 喻意义上，英汉颜色词的隐喻意义有三种情况：语义基本对应、语义部分对应、 语义完全不对应。英汉颜色词隐喻意义的相似点揭示了人类主要源于身体经验， 是通过隐喻和转喻的认知方式由一个词的原型意义向其他意义扩展的过程，是人 类认知范畴化和概念化的结果。具有共同的心里文化基础。同时，隐喻意义表达 的差异反映了多义现象受不同的身体体验和不同的文化生活背景。在文化内涵 上，英汉颜色词的文化内涵既有相同点又有不同点，而且一个颜色词既有褒义用 法同时也有贬义用法。印证了萨皮尔和沃夫的理论，即各语言之间存在普遍性和 多样性。第五章也是本文的重点，我们发现：造成英汉颜色词在结构、隐喻意义、 文化内涵上的差异有其认知理据。这主要取决于人类感知基础、文化基础、环境、 摘要 哲学观、宗教观以及语言本身的因素。第六章为结论部分。 本研究从认知的角度对颜色词进行了全面的对比分析，揭示了英汉颜色词从 结构到意义到内涵的相同之处和不同之处。有利于增进我们对英汉两种语言的理 解，促进文化交流，缩小东西两种文化交流的障碍，同时也有利于对其它词的多 义范畴的构建有更深的了解，对外语教学、英汉翻译等方面有很大的促进作用。 关键词：颜色词认知隐喻对比文化 h a b s t r a c
