摘要 随着翻译研究的不断深入，翻译与其他学科之间的联系也越来越 紧密并取得了丰硕的成果。美学与翻译的联姻有着悠久的历史，但是 翻译美学的研究主要集中在文学翻译领域。 经济全球化使跨文化交流越来越频繁，旅游业在跨文化交流中起 着十分重要的作用。拥有5 0 0 0 年灿烂文化的中国有着无数绚丽多姿 的自然、历史人文景观，这些名胜古迹都是游客向往的地方。在成功 加入世贸组织，举办2 0 0 8 年奥运会后中国吸引了越来越多的外国游 客。翻译质量的高低对于发展旅游业，传播中国文化，提升中国国际 形象都具有十分重要的意义。不少学者已从功能目的论，顺应论，跨 文化理论等视角对旅游翻译进行了研究，但是较少从翻译美学的角度 去探讨。本文拟从翻译美学的角度出发分析旅游资料的英译，发掘美 学原理对旅游资料英译的指导作用。 文章首先介绍了旅游文本的概念，分析了中英文旅游文本在语 言、风格等方面的特点，并回顾了国内外旅游翻译的研究现状。接着 概述了翻译美学及相关概念审美主体和审美客体，翻译美学在中国和 西方的发展历程，以及审美的四个基本过程。然后着重分析了翻译美 学在旅游文本英译中的体现，如音韵美，简约美，平行美，形象美等。 最后对译者在旅游文本英译过程中如何更好的体现其美学价值提出 了自己的建议。 关键词：旅游文本，翻译，翻译美学 a b s t r a c t a st
