科技英语中模糊限制语的语用分析 摘要 科技英语具有用词准确、语法结构严密、表述事物客观等特点。模糊限制语，作为 模糊家族的一员，在其中的作用经常被人们忽略。本文以科技语篇为语料，采用描述和 定性分析的方法研究科技英语中的模糊限制语，旨在分析科技英语中模糊限制语的语用 功能，同时挖掘其深层的语用依据。全文共分为五章： 第一章为引言，说明研究的由来及重要性，国内外相关研究成果和本人研究的重点。 第二章首先简要回顾和归纳国内外学者对科技英语和模糊限制语的定义和分类，然 后结合p r i n c ee t - a 1 和h y l a n d 的观点提出了作者本人用于分析科技英语中模糊限制语的 分类模式。 第三章根据上述模式把科技英语中的模糊限制语分为倾向“准确”、倾向“作者” 和倾向“读者”三大类型，并分析它们的语用功能。 第四章从v e r s c h u e r e n 的语言顺应理论出发，提出科技英语中的模糊限制语是顺应 语境关系和结构客体的结果，为模糊限制语在科技英语中的使用提供理论依据。 第五章简要总结全文的研究成果及意义，并指出研究的局限和不足以及今后努力的 方向。 通过对科技英语中模糊限制语的语用分析，结果表明，模糊限制语大量存在于科技 英语中，并可大致分为准确型、作者型及读者型。它们具有明确作者语言的准确性、减 轻作者所负的责任和表明对读者的敬重态度三大语用功能。研究还表明科技英语中的模 糊限制语是作者在词语和句子层面上顺应心理世界、社交世界和物理世界的结果。 本文通过对科技英语中模糊限制语的语用探讨，不仅能丰富现有的模糊限制语研 究，而且可以帮助了解作者语言使用策略，对于理解和撰写英语科技论文具有一定的实 际指导意义。 关键词：模糊限制语科技英语顺应理论语用分析 p r a g m 【a 1 1 ca
