中文提要 奥菲斯是古希腊传说中的英雄，有超人的音乐天赋。奥菲斯的歌声和琴韵十 分优美动听，各种鸟兽木石都围绕着他翩翩起舞。但奥菲斯之出名主要在于他创 立或改革的宗教奥菲斯教。 奥菲斯教的神话讲到宙斯和泰坦( 罪恶之神1 的斗法，宙斯用灰烬创造了人。 这个希腊人的祖先，既有泰坦的灰烬糟粕，又有酒神的精神实体。所以人生来就 是不完美的，泰坦化作人的肉体、欲望、感官等部分，酒神则是人的灵魂。而人 的肉体是灵魂的囚笼或坟墓，只有通过净化灵魂，才能在轮回转世中变得纯洁， 从而得到解脱，复与诸神同在，享受至福。 奥菲斯教于公元前六世纪在雅典流行，其教义对雅典人产生了重大影响，柏 拉图就是其典型。 在裴多篇中，奥菲斯的身影清晰可见。柏拉图对灵魂的关照主要聚焦在 三个方面：灵魂与肉体的关系，灵魂不朽，以及来世对灵魂的惩罚和奖励，这正 是奥菲斯教的主旨所在。 柏拉图采纳了奥菲斯教的观点，即肉体是灵魂的囚笼或坟墓。奥菲斯教认为， 生活的目的是维持神圣的灵魂，尽可能使身体纯洁，直至灵魂得到自由。但是， 对柏拉图来说，灵魂的净化可以通过哲学的追求来实现。对哲学的追求可以帮助 灵魂脱离肉体的束缚，最终到达彼岸世界。 奥菲斯教的灵魂不朽观也对柏拉图影响颇深，但是柏拉图并没囿于单纯的宗 教信仰，而是利用理性论证来证明灵魂不朽。最后，与奥菲斯教的来世生活相对
