摘要 本文旨在重点讨论g u t t 关丁| 关联理论与翻译的思想，通过文学翻译的实例， 澄清人们对关联翻译理论的一些误解，从而证明该理论对作为跨文化语言交际的 翻译活动有着充分的解释力。 翻译是跨语际交际行为，交际法是研究翻译的重要方法之一。交际观历经变 迁。传统代码模式与推理横式在解释交际现象上的不足带动了交际观方法研究的 进一步完善，以及随之而来的翻译观的演变。 关联理论是s p e r b e r 和w i l s o n 提出的从认知角度研究交际的新的方法论。 g u t t 以其为基础建立起来的翻译理论框架给翻译研究带来了全新的视角。1 9 9 1 年 g 姒出版了翻译与关联：认知与语境一书，该书在翻译研究界产生了很大的 反响。然而，“从近年来国内发表的一些学术文章来看，人们对本书内容似乎还有 不少误解。”( 张春柏，2 0 0 3 ) 例如，王建国等人错误的将关联理论等同为提倡意 译的理论，并认为关联理论提倡通过将原文隐含信息显性化来提高译文的关联性。 ( 王建国，2 0 0 3 ) 本文认为，产生这种误解的重要原因是人们没有准确理解关联 翻译理论的一对核心概念，即直接翻译以及与其相对应的间接翻译的概念。因此， 本文通过从关联理论角度分析翻译的全过程，拟着重讨论上述这组概念，以此来
