摘要 语言之间的交流实质上是文化与文化的交流。翻译作为沟通两种不同语言文 化的桥梁，在跨文化交际中起着不可的或缺的重要作用。然而，不同的语言文字 有其自身特有的文化内涵，一种语言文字中的某些含义，有时候很难通过译文用 另一种语言文字传达给读者，而翻译中所失去的恰恰就是跨文化的储蓄与微妙。 为了更好地解决这一问题，各国语言学家、翻译工作者提出了各种各样的翻 泽方法手段，归化与异化就是其中最具代表性的一对。本文着重研究跨文化翻译 当中的这两种翻译策略，并阐明它们之间的关系以及在具体翻译工作中科学的选 择。 在我的本篇论文中收集了大量的例子来分析它们各自的特点。本文的目的是 提出一些选择其中一个翻译策略的标准，以期对译者在翻译实践中能提供一些有 益的帮助。 第一部分作者论述了语言、翻译与文化之间的关系。 在第二部分中，作者简要介绍了两种翻译策略的倡导者、理论基础以及在翻 译中具体运用的方法。 第三部分作者分析了中式英q , 吾( c h i n g l i s h ) ，一种在中国学生汉译英过程中出现 的现象。这一现象f 是由于在翻译过程中译者过分地强调异化所导致的，是译者 对这两种翻译策略的不科学的选择的结果。 判断归化和异化是否合适应从以下五个因素着手，如翻译目的，文本类型， 读者接受程度，作者意图以及文化交流的阶段。 通过以上分析，作者得出结论，这两种翻译策略，都有其各自的特点和实用 价值，过于强调其中的一研十是片面的，不科学的。我们不仅应该研究这两种策略 的特点，还应分析它们在什么情况下，为了什么目的，适用于什么样的文本类型 等。我们不能把翻译策略看成是绝对的，辩证地研究这两种翻译策略才有利于翻 译研究的繁荣。 。 笑键词：翻译文化归化异化 a b s t r a
