论修辞学的社会实践 中文摘要 西方修辞学是一门古老而历久常新的学科。修辞学诞生于古希腊雅典的法庭论辩以 及公民大会的演说之中，一开始就表现出它强大的魅力。自公元前5 世纪以来，这门来 自社会生活的话语实践艺术，对人类的社会交往，文化的发展起来的心理学一样，具有 深厚的理性基础，也与政治学、伦理学以及现代的许多学科一样，具有重大的社会价值 和实用意义。亚历十多德在总结了古希腊人的修辞实践经验的基础上，创造性地建立了 西方修辞学体系，进一步肯定和强调修辞学的社会实践价值。 但是，自1 6 世纪开始，拉米斯重组西方传统修辞学，把修辞学中具有社会实践价 值的论辩分割出去，剩下的是作文的方法，主要包括文体和修辞格，致使这门学科逐渐 走向衰落，其后3 0 0 多年问一直没有恢复过来。2 0 世纪初中国引进的西方修辞学是一门 分割后的修辞学，因而对修辞学的认识具有相当大的局限性：借来了修辞学的结构框架， 却忽视了修辞学的核心内容修辞的劝说功能及其社会作用。 2 0 世纪中叶，西方修辞学在美国的复兴给这门古老的学科带来了强大的活力和新的 希望。论辩回归修辞学，修辞的社会实践意义重新受到重视。今日的蔼方修辞学不仅在 学术领域，而且在社会文化生活中都占据了相当重要的地位。修辞学的劝说策略在社会 生活的各个方面在政治、经济、文化、法律、大众传播乃至社会交往中都发挥了不 容忽视的作用。在当今全球化的时代，我国正以前所未有的速度融入国际社会，修辞学 的发展必将与时代同步，实现中西会通，为创建一个现代化的和谐社会发挥她应有的作 用。 在这个改革开放的大潮中，我们应当负起历史的责任，对中国修辞学的发展尽一份 绵薄之力，本文正是怀着这样一个美好的愿望而写的。文章以西方现代修辞学理论为主
