摘要 众多历史学家和社会学家对美国梦这一词观点不一，不同的美 国人也有不同的解读。二十世纪美国著名黑人诗人兰斯顿休斯对 黑人的美国梦持有独到的看法。本文以休斯的诗集耽搁的梦想蒙 太奇为研究对象，探讨美国黑人的美国梦。文章包括三部分：一 ，黑人美国梦的现实；二、黑人美国梦的表现形式布鲁斯音乐； 三、黑人美国梦的实质。 第一章以美国梦为主题，通过分析耽搁的梦想蒙太奇所反映 的二战后的黑人居住区哈莱姆黑人的生存状况，论述了当时黑人的生 活，黑人梦想的幻灭和他们的希望。 第二章探讨了诗歌中休斯以黑人音乐布鲁斯调子、结构及其他 形式对黑人美国梦的展现。布鲁斯是“忧伤的 ，是受压迫人民无望 的感受；布鲁斯同时又是“快乐的”，是美国黑人求生的心情。休斯 的诗歌通过模仿布鲁斯音乐，抓住黑人这种矛盾着的情感特征来表现 他们的梦想。从结构上，休斯的诗歌不仅照搬美国布鲁斯音乐所使用 的反复、呼应等手法，而且模仿布鲁斯音乐的整体结构进行创作。 第三章从黑人美学的角度分析了黑人美国梦的实质黑人的 美国梦是被耽搁的、忧郁的但又为黑人所憧憬的。 论文主要从诗歌内容和形式两方面探讨了耽搁的梦想蒙太奇 中美国梦的主题，指出休斯对黑人民族音乐的移植与借鉴不仅表现了 黑人民族梦想被耽搁和压抑的社会现实以及情感特征，而且通过诗歌 “梦的变奏 表达了黑人对理想的不懈追求和向往。
