华北电力大学硕士学位论文摘要 摘要 本文试图以存在主义理论来分析雨王汉德森，本文共分为五部分内容。第 一章：对前人关于索尔贝娄和雨王汉德森的评论以及存在主义哲学对贝娄的 影响进行了简要论述；第二章，分析了汉德森所处的荒谬世界，揭示了世界是荒谬 的，人本身也是荒谬的；第三章，主要论述了汉德森在其所处的荒谬世界中的体验， 展现人生是痛苦和无意义的，这也是存在主义哲学对人生的普遍看法；第四章，主 要论述自由选择和责任。存在主义者认为人生来就是自由的，所以人可以自由地创 造自己的价值，实现存在的意义。与此同时，以萨特为代表的存在主义者又强调了 自由和责任的关系。在此基础上汉德森通过非洲之行获得了面对现实的勇气，找到 了存在的意义。第五章，通过上述各章对雨王汉德森的分析，归纳出本文的主 要观点，即世界是荒谬的，人生是痛苦的，但是人可以通过自由选择和行动承担起
