中文摘要 当今世界的重要特点之一就是全球化。受其影响，各国在经济、文化等各个 方面展开了广泛的交流。交流的需要使翻译活动必不可少。本文对翻译活动中采 取的杂合翻译策略的特点进行了细致、深入的研究。 传统的翻译理论认为，翻译活动不是采取归化的策略就是采用异化的策略。 为此，几千年来各派的翻译理论家们展开了激烈的争论。一直以来，在归化与异 化之争中，归化似乎都占了上风。但是，当今世界新的交流需要使人们开始重新 审视这两种翻译策略。本文对归化和异化的特点进行了深入的分析和比较。通过 分析，我们发现归化翻译的特点是透明、易懂，读者在归化为主的译文中遇到的 外来因素相对较少，因此，比较容易理解和接受这类译文；异化翻译的特点则表 现为异国情调和一定程度上的晦涩难懂，但是，这种翻译策略也能给目标语带来 一些其他文化中的东西，因而能从语言和文化等方面丰富目标语。 本文以后殖民主义翻译理论为支撑，说明所有的译文都综合使用了归化和异 化的翻译策略，即：所有的译文都是杂合的，并详细阐释了杂合翻译策略的合理 性和优势所在。相对于归化和异化而言，杂合能更好地促进源语文化和目标语文 化的交流、抵制文化霸权以及促进目的语的优化。通过使用“杂合 这种翻译策 略，源语和目标语的语言和文化特征都能在一定程度上得以保存下来。在后殖民 主义的语境中，这为处于弱势的被殖民文化的保存提供了一条出路。通过杂合的 翻译策略，弱势文化也能够对强势文化施加一定的影响，促使强势文化关注其他 文化，因而有利于促进文化霸权的消解。 我们推崇杂合的翻译策略，并不表示在翻译活动中可以无限制地使用杂合。 因此，本文还指出了杂合必须被控制在可以接受的范围之内，并对影响杂合度的 因素进行了分析。这些因素被分为内部因因素和外部因素。内部因素包括译者和 原文文本的类型。其中，译者对译文的杂合度具有一定的发言权，而原文文本的 类型则决定了译文中的杂合因素所占的分量。外部因素包括赞助人、意识形态、 专业人士、诗学和读者。赞助人主要关注的是意识形态，而专业人士的注意力则 主要集中于诗学方面。当然，读者对译文的杂合度也有一定的影响，因为译文都 是以被读者接受为目的的。 为了使本文的观点和论证更充分、有力，本文以林语堂先生翻译的浮生六 记为例，从语言和文化的角度分析了其中的例子，说明了杂合在译文中的存在。 具体说来，杂合的翻译策略在语言翻译方面的具体表现有词汇、习语、谚语和诗 歌的翻译；在文化翻译方面，杂合翻译策略的应用则具体体现为禁忌语和意识形 态因素的翻译。本文还结合具体的例子，说明了杂合的优势以及影响杂合度的因 素在林语堂先生翻译的浮生六记中的体现。
