哈尔滨工程大学硕士学位论文 摘要 教师在英语语言教学中起到重要作用，是教育改革和提高学校教育质量 的关键因素。教育的目的在于通过教育改变受教者的行为，而教师是教学的 关键。因此，对教师角色的研究应给予极大关注。 本文旨在从历时角度对教师角色进行细致分析。通过对教师角色这一概 念的解释，对以教师为中心的教学和以学生为中心的教学中的教师角色的研 究，以及对“方法后”时代中教师角色的探索，揭示出教师角色的演变。最 终，通过以上研究得出结论：首先，教师的作用日益重要，教师应该吸收以 教师为中心的教学和以学生为中心的教学这两种教学形式的优点，引导英语 教学课堂向双中心教学发展，与学生建立更好的互动关系，促进教学相长；其 次，在教学活动中，学生的角色逐渐由被动变为主动；最后，教同一种教材 可以使用不同的教学方法
