内容摘要 近年来，翻译的研究从词句的层面转向了语篇层面。衔接理论是语篇 研究的一方面。根据衔接理论，衔接手段包括语法衔接和词汇衔接。与 语法衔接相比，词汇衔接研究的相对较少。本文试从词汇衔接的角度比 较由我国著名翻译家杨苡争方平翻译的外国文学名著呼啸山庄，希望 通过比较能发现在词汇衔接翻译上两个译本的差异，同时也希望能够得 出一些启发，正确把握文学语篇中英汉词汇衔接的翻译。这对翻译争翻 译批评的研究，翻译实践以及衔接理论都将有积极作用。 本文选择这个角度来比较首先要解决的一点就是确定选用的词汇衔 接方式的具体分类。在韩礼德和哈森英语的衔接一书中确定的词汇 衔接的基础上，结合其他学者的研究，最终确定本文词汇衔接方式为以 下六类：重复，近义词，反义词，上下义词，搭配，特定语境下的词汇 关系。所涉及的其他理论支持还包括：衔接、连贯，语篇和翻译的关系， 翻译与比较语言学的关系以及翻译标准和方法。 根据王宏印文学翻译批评论稿中的研究方法，本文主要采用的研 究方法为比较法。译文与原文比较，译文与译文比较，比较的内容不仅 包括翻译的结果，即译文，也包括译者选用的翻译策略和方法。由于全 书涉及的词汇衔接的例子很多，所以本文采用取样的方式，选择典型的 例子进行比较研究。此外，还需要细读法对文本进行准确的理解和分析， 需要运用评价法来评价译文以及翻译策略选择的差异。 通过对比研究，本文得出如下结论：从词汇衔接的角度来看，两位译 i v 者的翻译不能说完美，但都是较好的翻译，基本上都符合本文采用的翻 译评价标准。原文的词汇衔接在译文中大多都有恰出的表达，有时译者 保留了原文的词汇衔接，有时为符合鬻标语的语言习惯以及罄标语语篇 的连贯，译者对词汇衔接方式进行了转换。从中我们也可以得到这样一 些启示：词汇衔接对语篇意义连贯的形成起很大的作用，了解源语的词 汇衔接有助予译者准确了解原文，了解译语的词汇衔接有助于译者恰当 表达译文。因此，译者必须全面了解源语和目标语词汇衔接，这样才能 在翻译过程中减少误译，创作出准确、通顺、自然连贯的译文。 关键词：词汇衔接翻译对比研究 a b s t r a c t t o d a y st r a n s l a t i o ns t u d yh a
