摘要 中国大学生英文写作中语篇迁移现象的对比分析 刘昕 本文运用迁移、对比分析、英文写作及二语教学中的相关理论，对中国非英语专业大 学生英文写作中的语篇迁移现象进行了对比分析。 众所周知，写作无论对于英语教学还是英语学习都非常重要，师生们对此虽付出了许 多努力，但当前中国非英语专业大学生的写作能力并不能令人满意。在那些以英语为母语 的人眼里，很多中国大学生的英文写作尽管语法正确，但是句式过于简单和单一，上下文 缺乏连贯性或篇章结构混乱。这从很大程度上来说是由于他们缺乏有效而恰当的组织篇章 的能力。在他们的英文写作里，汉语思维及写作习惯的影响显而易见，语篇迁移的负面影 响非常普遍。如何把这一来自母语的干扰降至最小? 产生这一干扰的原因及语篇迁移和学 生的语言能力之间的关系是什么? 这将是本文将要揭示的问题。 作者首先对迁移理论和对比分析假设进行了简单回顾，其中语篇迁移及在此层次上的 对比分析是本文的重点。接下来作者从宏观语篇模式，语篇的衔接与连贯和写作风格三个 具体方面对中、英文写作的特点做了对比分析，同时为本文中的试验性研究提供了理论参 照。美国语言学家k a p l a n ( 1 9 6 6 ) 认为直线型发展还是螺旋型发展，即：直接型还是迂回 型，是英汉篇章模式在宏观上的主要差异。他们分别为美国人和中国人所偏爱。中国人写 文章以语义为中心， 只要语义相关，篇章就会自然流动，体现了整体式思维。另外，中国 人做文章还讲究“不言雨喻”，有没有明显的衔接词并不重要。与汉语不同，英语段落往往 先陈述段落的中心意思，然后分点说明，它看重文章逻辑上的合理性，并要求用清晰准确 的语言把上下文的逻辑关系表示出来。不同的思维方式导致了不同的写作习惯。 本文中作者对辽宁师范大学非英语专业四十名学生的英文写作情况进行了调查研究， 结果表明：( 1 ) 语篇负迁移在他们的作文中确实存在；( 2 ) 了解英汉语篇差异的同学，其 语篇负迁移比不了解语篇差异的人要小；( 3 ) 英语语言能力强的同学，其语篇负迁移比语 言能力低的人要小；( 4 ) 语篇负迁移少的同学，其作文质量比语篇负迁移多的同学高。这 对于中国大学校园里的公外英语教学有重要启示：提高主观意识的重要性。这包括两方面： ( 1 ) 学生要提高对于英汉各自语篇特征及二者差异的意识；( 2 ) 老师要增强给予学生这方 面的指导和训练，帮助他们提高克服来自汉语语篇负面影响的意识。针对这一启示，作者 提出了以下六条教学策略：( 1 ) 发展移情；( 2 ) 用对比分析的方法进行批判式阅读；( 3 ) 提纲写作练习；( 4 )
