摘要 托马斯哈代是最著名的英国作家之一，著有还乡、卡斯特桥市长、德伯家 的苔丝、无名的裘德等数部名作。其中，使哈代一举成名的是他的第四部小说一远 离尘嚣。 远离尘嚣讲述了一个年轻女性芭丝希芭埃弗玎和她的三个追求者的故事。第 一个追求者是一个牧羊的农夫，他在一场灾难中破了产，最后只能在芭丝希芭埃弗玎 的农场上为她工作。另一个追求者是一个内敛、富有的农场主，他最后成为芭丝希芭制 鉴于圣经对哈代的深远影响，加之在远离尘嚣中蕴藏了很多圣经原型，本 论文旨在从原型批评的角度分析远离尘嚣，重点分析了其中的原型人物、原型结构、 原型情节。 本论文包括三个部分，即引言，正文和结论。 引言部分包括小说内容的介绍、文献综述、研究动机、方法和问题和论文框架。 正文部分包括第一章至第四章。其中，第一章简要回顾原型批评理论并说明在此理 论的基础上分析远离尘嚣这部作品的可行性。第二章着重分析小说中的原型人物。 第三章分析了这部作品中的原型结构，即u 性叙述结构和倒u 性叙述结构。第四章探讨 i i i 了原型情节，即芭丝希芭和特洛伊的外部冲突和芭丝希芭的内心冲突。 结论部分总结了前面几章中的研究发现，并指出哈代在远离尘嚣中运用原型的 意图，即通过这些圣经原型的运用，来彰显急速工业化过程中传统的基督教价值观以及
