摘要 戴赫劳伦斯( 1 8 8 5 1 9 3 0 ) 是2 0 世纪英国文学史上最有天分及最多产的作 家之一，但他也是文学圈里最富有争议的一位。他的文学创作及作品在他生前一 直不被人们接受和理解，饱受诟病。他不仅直白地表达了对机械文明的极大反感， 又像个叛逆的预言家，对传统的物质价值观嗤之以鼻，大胆地探讨了敏感话题一 两性关系。 劳伦斯不仅从小热爱自然，在作品中详尽描述自然美景，他还创作了一群能 与自然和谐相处，极力抵御现代文明侵蚀的自然之子，如处女作白孔雀里的 乔治，代表作恋爱中的女人的伯金，最后一部小说查泰莱夫人的情人中 的梅乐斯等。他们几近相同，却折射出劳伦斯自然观的发展经过了彷徨、提升、 成熟阶段的循序渐进过程。 本文先简要介绍了劳伦斯的文学创作和生态批评，主体部分是利用生态批评 来解读白孔雀，恋爱中的女人和查泰莱夫人的情人中的三组自然之子，
