摘要 中文摘要 地震、山体滑坡、火山爆发、洪水、飓风等灾难每年导致成千上万人死亡， 带来数十亿美元的财产损失。许多经历过灾难的国家都高度重视新闻媒体在灾难 中的作用。他们说，媒体能够及时向公众传播最新的消息，能够协助政府的救灾 工作，能够唤起人们对受害者的同情。 然而，灾难新闻报道在语言学界并未受到重视。近年来，只有少数的研究者， 其中大部分是国内的研究者，开始关注灾难新闻。本文从中国日报中选取了 1 0 篇关于1 9 9 8 洪灾的头版头条报道以及1 0 篇关于2 0 0 8 年汶川大地震的头版头条 报道，以评价理论为框架，对两组灾难新闻语料的评价资源进行了分析比较，旨 在找出中国日报灾难新闻报道中评价资源的一般共性，探讨灾难新闻报道中 的评价资源是否随时间发生变化。并试图找出决定这些一般共性和引起变化的原 因。 经过对所选的两个语料的分析和比较，本研究发现中国日报灾难新闻报 道评价资源最突出的一般共性特点是：情感资源最少，而且所有的情感资源都是 外在的，态度意义主要是通过“引发”类裁决资源来实现，大多数态度资源都是 积极的。大部分参与资源都是“中立”的承认资源。等级资源中的量化，特别是 数字在灾难新闻报道中使用最频繁，大部分等级资源都是“升级 资源。 本文同时也发现，从1 9 9 8 年到2 0 0 8 年1 0 年间，灾难新闻报道发生了很大变 化。最突出的变化是2 0 0 8 年汶川地震报道中态度资源和参与资源的数量，相对于 1 9 9 8 年的洪水灾难新闻报道来说，有很大增加，情感资源和消极态度资源的比例 也有很大增幅。另外，2 0 0 8 年汶川地震新闻报道的态度资源的评价者远远比1 9 9 8 年洪灾新闻报道丰富得多。 最后本文还揭示了记者声音、新闻的客观性要求以及国家新闻政策决定了灾 难新闻报道评价资源的一般共性。而政府政治控制的减弱、新闻职业道德的回归、 市民知情权意识的提高以及获取信息的方式多样化是导致灾难新闻报道评价资源 变化的主要原因。 本研究的意义在于检验了评价理论的可操作性和理论解释力，为如何报道灾 难新闻，特别是如何把握灾难新闻报道中的态度，体现人文关怀，同时保持新闻 报道的客观性方面提供了一些有益的启示。 摘要 关键词：灾难新闻，评价资源，一般共性，历时变化 a
