摘要 英语在加速全球化的过程中也带来了英语广泛的本土化。半个世纪以来，一 些地区的特色英语已成为了语言学家讨论的话题。对英语诸变体的语言、社会、 文化以及认知等方面的研究已成为国际语言学研究领域中的一项重要课题。具有 地域色彩的英语在各自国家的对外交往中正发挥越来越重要的作用。中国也不例 外。中国英语是英语与中国特殊社会文化结合的产物，是人们在用英语表达自己 的思想感情时，由于受汉文化、汉语思维方式的影响和自身生理条件的限制而说 出的一种不同于标准英语且带有明显汉语特色的英语。目前，国内外对中国英语 已经有很多研究，涉及范围广泛。比如，中国英语是否存在；中国英语是否属于 英语变体；对中国英语进行定义和判定它在各个语言层面的特征；对中国英语的 态度；以及从其他语言学的角度对中国英语进行分析等等。但总体而言，学者们 研究的重点放在中国英语的定义、语音、词汇等方面，而对中国英语的句法和语 篇的研究甚微。 本文在前人研究的基础上，指出研究存在的问题，肯定中国英语这一现象存 在的事实，同时指出它存在的价值，并且通过案例分析法、对比分析法来分析中 国英语的现象与特征。所采用的语料主要是政府工作报告的英译。之所以如 此，是因为政府工作报告是中国政府向其人民代表所做的工作总结和工作部 署，即总结过去一年中国政府建设具有中国特色社会主义事业的新成就，部署针 对中国国情的大政方针、基本国策。因此报告中会出现不少新词汇、新用语、新 提法，而这些都是中国特有的。本文研究的问题如下：( 1 ) 中国英语这种语言 现象是否存在；( 2 ) 中国英语与中式英语的差异；( 3 ) 中国英语在词汇、句法、 语篇层面上的特征。 ，本文首先回顾了前人对英语变体和中国英语的研究，在综述前人的研究成果 中指出研究中出现的问题。然后，作者将中国英语与另一个很常见的语言现象 “中式英语”做了比较分析，从语言层面上对两者进行严格的区分。接着，作者 从三个方面提出了中国英语存在的理据性，肯定了研究的意义。在此基础上再进 行案例研究，目的是研究我国政府工作报告中是否也存在中国英语，以了解中国 英语存在的普遍性。在研究中，本文还比较中国政府工作报告与外国政府工作报 告在语言层面的差异，旨在说明前者译文的中国英语特点。在本文的结束部分， 作者对全文进行了总结，指出中国英语这种语言现象确实存在。本文的研究意义 在于通过案例分析证明中国英语存在的普遍性。 关键词：英语变体；中国英语；中式英语；政府工作报告 a b s t r a c t t h ep r o c e s so fa c c e l e r a t e dg l o b a l i z a t i
