摘要 语码转换是自2 0 世纪6 0 年代末期以来倍受语言学家关注的一个术语。语码转换的 定义并不统一，本研究，采用了m y e r s - s c o t t o n 的观点，不细分语码转换和语码混用这 两个术语，也就是说本研究中的语码转换包括句间语码转换和句内语码混用。 话语分析是国内外语言学家关注的焦点，特别是课堂话语分析倍受语言学家和教育 学家的关注。课堂语码转换研究起源于2 0 世纪7 0 年代后半期的美国双语教育研究。通 过对外语课堂语码转换的研究进行回顾，笔者发现前人的研究多局限于二语习得的角 度，功能的途径，民族志，社会学，心理学，还有社会学和心理学相结合的途径，而很 少有人从系统功能语言学的角度进行研究。因此，笔者拟从系统功能语言学的角度，来 研究课堂话语的语码转换。并且把评价理论作为本文的理论框架。评价理论是在对功能 语言学中的人际元功能的研究中发展起来的新词汇一语法的理论框架。本文主要涉及到 评价系统中的态度和介入两个子系统。并从态度和介入两个子系统来观察语码转换在语 言学角度和教学方面的双重作用。 本文由五章构成。第一章简要介绍了论文的研究问题，研究理据和研究方法。第 二章对外语课堂语码转换的研究文献进行了回顾。第三章论述了本文的理论框架和研究 方法。第四章以评价系统为语篇分析框架对所收集的课堂语料进行了分析和讨论。第五 章得出结论，指出了课堂语码转换研究对语言学和教学的双重意义，并指出本研究的不 足之处，以及进一步的研究方向。 关键词：语码转换：英语外语课堂；系统功能语言学；评价理论 v a b s t r a c t c o d e s w i t c h i n g ( h e r e a f t e rc s ) i sat e r mw h i c hh a sb e e na r o u s i n gm u c ha t t e n t i o no f s o c i o l i n g u i s t ss i n c et h el a t e19 6 0 s c sh a sm a n yd i f f e r e n td e f i n i t i o n s t h ea u t h o ra c c e p t s m y e r s s c o t t o n s ( 19 9 8 ：10 7 ) o p i n i o n t h a ti st os a y , t h ea u t h o r sc si n c l u d e si n t e r -
