摘要 1 9 6 5 年，美国控制论专家扎德( z a d e h ) 提出了模糊理论，并把它引入到了 语言学研究领域。从此，语言学界越来越多的学者们开始了语言的模糊性研究。 模糊限制语作为模糊语的一部分，被认为是最普遍，最典型，最具有研究价值的 模糊语言。 模糊限制语这一概念首先是由美国语言学家拉考夫( g e o r g el a k o f f ) 于1 9 7 2 年提出并开始研究的，他认为模糊限制语是“把一些事物弄的模模糊糊 的词语 。继l a k o f f 之后，中西方学者对模糊限制语从语义、语用、认知、心理 等不同角度进行了深入的研究。随着研究的深入，人们对模糊限制语有了更全面 的认识，如何在日常交际及各种文体中更好的运用模糊限制语也成了2 1 世纪语 言学者们研究关注的重点。 本文将重点研究在以英语为母语的企业网站中英语模糊限制语使用的特点 及作用。随着互联网时代的到来，企业网站成为了企业重要的广告及沟通平台之 一。一个好的网站可以帮助企业更快的打造品牌，宣传产品及服务，吸引顾客、 投资者、求职者等。而模糊限制语的恰当运用能更好的帮助企业来达到他们的目 的。 在模糊理论、语义学、语用学和认知科学等研究成果的基础上，本文对8 个 国外企业网站中英语模糊限制语的使用频率，实现形式，语用功能及使用动机 进行了全面的统计及分析。统计及分析结果表明，企业网站中运用了大量的模糊 限制语，其中情态动词、数量近似形容词和副词，比较级与最高级、无人称化、 条件式等词语或策略作为模糊限制语频繁出现。结合g r i c e 的合作原则及l e e c h 的礼貌原则分析，作者发现模糊限制语总是被有目的的运用到企业网站中。其使 用动机可归结为：吸引读者、劝导读者、表现可信性和客观性，礼貌性，及自我 保护。 本文首先对企业网站的定义、作用，及语料搜集做了简单的介绍；接下来阐 述了模糊限制语的研究状况及分类，重点介绍了l a k o f f , p r i n c e 和h y l a n d 的分 类法；在h y l a n d 的分类法基础上，作者在本文给出了自己的分析框架，基于这 个分析框架，重点统计分析了模糊限制语在企业网站中的使用频率及实现形式： 然后，运用( f l e e 的合作原则及l
