中文摘要 在过去数十年间，国际国内的学者们围绕语言学习策略进行了大量研究，并 通过实验证明，语言学习策略的运用与学习者二语水平之间存在联系，且学习者 可以通过培训提高策略意识并有效利用各类策略，从而提高外语成绩。众所周知， 我国高校对艺术类的招生情况是比较特殊的，高校艺术类学生的文化课成绩普遍 较低，高考英语成绩更是在总体上要比其他专业的学生低一大截。然而，这类学 生在进入高校后，英语学习的要求却并不比对其他专业学生的要求低，包括要参 加大学英语四、六级考试。这样的要求，无论是对学生还是老师，都是一个极大 的挑战。考虑到阅读在英语学习中的重要地位，本文旨在通过对艺术类大学生英 语阅读策略的调查和培训，提高他们的英语阅读能力，最终达到帮助他们提高英 语成绩的目的。 本研究的受试者是常州工学院艺术与设计学院0 7 级两个班的8 0 名学生。其 中一个班为实验班，接受为期一个学期以阅读策略训练为基础的英语教学，另一 个为对照班，接受常规英语教学。两个班的同学都在实验前和实验后分别进行了 英语阅读水平测试，并且在实验开始前填写了关于英语阅读策略的问卷。所有数 据都通过s p s s 进行了分析。此外，在本次实验结束的时候，实验班的1 5 名学生 接受了访谈。 研究结果表明，艺术类大学生应用英语阅读策略的意识不强，不能有效应用 各种阅读策略，因此对此类学生进行英语阅读策略的培训具有必要性；以阅读策 略训练为基础的英语教学对提高艺术类学生的阅读能力有积极的影响；艺术类学 生对以阅读策略训练为基础的英语教学持积极肯定的态度。 关键词：高校艺术类学生；阅读策略；策略训练；阅读理解能力 a b s t r a c t a n e x p e r i m e n t a ls t u d yo fr e a d i n gs t
