英语新目标八年级下册Unit 2 Ill help to clean up the city parks. Section A 3a-3c 教学设计山西省阳泉市第六中学 苗宝萍一、教学目标【情感态度价值观目标】 1、让学生了解各种自愿活动,学生在谈论如何为别人提供帮助的对话中,能意识到尽己所能,帮助他人,培养学生为他人着想,乐于助人的优良品质。 2、通过小组合作活动来培养学生合作与共享的学习习惯。3、丰富多彩的教学活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动其积极性,使学生在课堂中不断体验成功,树立自信心,促使学生综合语言运用能力的发展。【能力目标】 能运用阅读策略完成阅读任务,通过阅读提高学生们的阅读能力。【知识目标】能正确使用下列单词:several, strong, feeling, satisfaction, joy, owner, journey, raise, alone能正确使用下列短语:try out, at the age of, come true, at the same time, go on a different journey, 能正确理解下列难点句子: 1. I get such a strong feeling of satisfaction when I see the animals get better and the look of joy on their owners faces.2. Volunteering here is a dream come true for me.3. I can do what I love to do and help others ay the same time.语法:能分辨动词不定式在句中作宾语、宾语补足语和状语时的作用和意义,并能正确使用动词不定式。二、学情分析学生学习英语新目标已经有一年半了,大多数学生已能听懂有关熟悉话题的对话和文章,能就熟悉的话题进行探讨。英语新课标八年级下册Unit 2 的话题是志愿服务及慈善活动,这一话题贴近时代,贴近社会,贴近学生生活。学生谈论这一话题不会感到特别困难。学生初次学习动词不定式,就要分清楚动词不定式在句中作宾语、宾语补足语和状语时的作用和意义。笔者认为学生在学习过程中会感到有点难。为了降低学习难度,笔者充分利用多媒体教学手段,采用分步、分层教学法,层层突出重点,逐渐分散难点。这样,有利于学生掌握和记忆。三、重点难点重点:1、学生能正确使用知识目标中的单词和短语。2、学生学会运用阅读策略阅读短文,并获得相关的信息;通过阅读练习,来提高阅读能力。难点:1、学生能运用阅读策略阅读短文,并获得相关的信息。2、能正确理解下列难点句子: 1)I get such a strong feeling of satisfaction when I see the animals get better and the look of joy on their owners faces.2) Volunteering here is a dream come true for me.3) I can do what I love to do and help others ay the same time.四、教学过程Step 1 Daily greetings and leading into a new lesson.Today well learn Unit 2 Ill help to clean up the city parks. Section A (3a-3c). Step 2 Show “Teaching aims” Step 3 Revision1. Get the students to talk about the pictures to revise the words and phrases about volunteering. 2. Get the students to role play the conversations like this in order to review the infinitives and use the model verb “could” to give advice.1) A: I hope to work outside.B: You could help to clean up the city parks.2) A: Id like to help homeless people.B: You could give out food at the food bank to help feed them.Step 4 Warming upGet the students to watch a video and answer the questions.1) Where did they volunteer to work? 2) What did they do there?3) What do you usually do on your free time? Would you like to volunteer to doanything for others? Step 5 Section A 3a1. Get the students to read the article in 3a quickly and try to find the answers tothese questions: 1) What does Mario love? 2) What does Mary love?3) What do Mario and Mary volunteer to do?Ss read the article quickly and try to answer the questions:学法指导:学生先看问题,然后带着问题快速阅读短文,找到答案;学生阅读有目标,有针对性,提高阅读的速度。2. Ask the students to say out their answers to the questions. Check the answers with the students.3. Get the students to read the article slowly and try to guess the meanings of the new words. Find the difficult sentences in the article and help each other to understand them.4. Ask the students to look at the pictures and learn the new words.5. Deal with the difficult sentences the students have found in the articles with the help of the teacher. 6. Play the tape of the article and get the students to listen and repeat.Step 6 Section A 3b 1. Get the students to read the article again and answer the questions. 1) Why does Mario volunteer to help others?2) Why does Mary volunteer to help others?3) What does Mario say about volunteering?4) What does Mary say about volunteering? 2. Check the answers with the students.Step 7 Section A 3c Get the students to use infinitives to complete the sentences below. Check the answers with the students. 点拨: 让学生们读3d中的内容,理解每个句子的大体意思。根据短文的内容,并恰当的不定式来完成每个句子。如果不能直接填上,可以再去阅读短文,在相关的内容处,再仔细进行阅读,找到相关信息,并完成句子。Step 8 Summary In this class, weve learned the new words on page 11.
