Section A 3a-3c 教学设计 张玲芳1、 教学内容及分析：本堂课是Section A的第二课时，阅读部分（Qomolangma-the Most Dangerous Mountain in the world?），语篇围绕攀登珠穆朗玛峰的危险性展开，很容易引起学生的兴趣并激发学生去了解更多关于登山的知识, 体会登山者无畏攀登,执着向上的精神信念,及挑战自我的精神。 各项活动要求学生能够通过快速阅读找到关键词，在理解所读内容的基础上借助关键词总结文段大意，最后能够在关键词的帮助下用自己的话复述文段。 通过阅读技能的训练，学生能进一步学习和巩固形容词及副词最高级的一些用法结构。与此同时，让学生学会如何介绍地理常识。2、 学情分析：学生是我所教的百汇学校初中部初二下的学生。 经过一年多学习，学生已经有一定的英语基础知识和听说能力。他们能够读懂简单的文章，能够互相合作与简单交流。所以在课堂活动的安排中，通过学生间的合作学习，降低他们的学习难度，使他们体验到成功的喜悦。同时在阅读和书面表达中加以落实，提高他们综合运用语言的能力，使各层次的学生都有所收获。 本堂阅读课在“阅读技能训练”方面主要是训练同学们“找关键词总结大意”的能力，而这项阅读技能我班大多数学生掌握的并不是很好，因此需要精心设计以达到训练目的。 对于阅读后的目标语输出环节，学生通过八年级上册第三、四单元的学习已经掌握了形容词副词比较级和最高级的基本用法，通过本单元第一课时的学习也了解了一些地理常识以及介绍地理、大自然相关的大量短语搭配（如：. square kilometers in size, .meters high, .meters deep, a lot bigger than, much longer.than., 比较级than any other +n.单数，最高级+n. in the world, 最高级 of all the +n.pl等），但是有些表达用语还是需要展示出来，提供帮助以降低难度。3、 教学目标：1、 语言知识目标：掌握下列单词及短语.achievement,achieve,southwestern, include, condition, take in, succeed ,succeed in doing sth. challenge, in the face of, force run along，thick clouds, in the face of difficulties, the forces of nature, give up trying , challenge themselves, even though2、 语言能力目标： 通过听读、略读、精读文章，掌握阅读技巧，提高阅读技能。3、 情感态度价值观：学习登山者的挑战自我、永不放弃的精神。4、 教学重、难点：通过听读、略读、精读文章，掌握阅读技巧，提高阅读技能。4、 教法选择及学法指导：本课主要运用“任务型教学法”，依据新课程标准理念及课改精神，从以下几个方面对学生进行学法指导：自主学习法和合作学习法。5、 教学过程：Step 1.Warming-up and Lead-inWhat do you know about Qomolangma?Learn something about Qomolangma by watching some pictures.Step2 .Pre-reading Talk about Qomolangma in groups of 4.What kind of dangers can you see in the pictures? very high, thick clouds, very cold and hard to breathe, heavy snow and storms,but humans never give up and try to challenge themselves.(设计理念：通过小组讨论让学生分享已有的知识，拓宽个人视野，养成合作意识.)Step 3、 While-readingTask 1 、work alone.Listen and answer the questions. 1、Where are the Himalayas? 2、How high is Qomolangma?(设计理念：通过听的方式，回答两个较简单的问题。培养学生自主学习的能力及听力的能力培养。)Task 2、work alone. 3a.
