unit 5 do you have a soccer ball 第一课时： new wordsteaching and learning goals： learn the new words of unit5 in one class. students try to learn how to read and remember the words and phrases. memorize the words by spelling and using them. students will learn to study individually and collectively.teaching and learning steps :step 1:learn to read the words on p90. (1). students try to read the words using the phonetics by themselves. make a “”before the words that they cant read correctly.(2). then let the students read with their partners in groups of four. they can talk about how to read the words with“”.at the same time the teacher walks around to see if they have any questions and help them.(3).get some students to read and correct their pronunciation. then follow the teacher .(4).read after the tape.(5).read aloud and the teacher walks around to give some help if they need. (2).get the students to retell the story using the mind map. (设计意图：把短文与思维导图结合起来，加深了对本单元的一些词汇和短语的理解，在语境中体会词组的用法。同时，思维导图将文章划分三部分，可以培养学生分节理解记忆文章的习惯。) step 6. 当堂检测一汉译英：1.英式足球 2.网球 3.乒乓球拍 4.棒球拍 5.乒乓球 6.打排球 7.打篮球 二根据句意和汉语意思填单词。1. (让咱们) play tennis. 2. can you (打网球)？3.that (听起来) good. 4. lets (去)to school.5.were (迟到). 6.let me (去取) it.三.用所给单词的适当形式填空。1. lets (play) ping- pong. 2. he (have) a soccer ball.3. i think tom has two (basketball).4.lets play volleyball. that (sound) good.5. you (have) a baseball?亮点： 本单元的单词课堂设计基本涵盖了本单元的单词，单词的拼读注重了学生自学能力和小组合作能力的培养。尤其是interesting等难读词汇部分的教学，看图片学习印象深刻；球类单词部分既出示了球的图片又学习了打某种球的表达，又以对话的形式做了练习。记单词部分利用多种手段和多种形式来吸引学生的兴趣，让学生记住单词却不觉得枯燥。短文编写让学生在短文中对单词加深了识记，又理解了部分单词的大致用法，对本单元的课文学习有了一定的渗透，达到了预习的目的。当堂检测的设计更是有效地补充与巩固了词汇的用法。不足之处：一节课内容设计的有些多，如果在此前预习的很好，还是能充分完成的。同时本节课容量较大，部分环节不能很好的展示与训练,设计中实义动词的用法涉及较少。使用建议：首先要对单元内容达到熟练掌握（几个较长的形容词对学生来说比较难读难记，应多练习），能够基本明确单词在单元中的位
