in the comparisons and therefore use of the table is to be limited to unavoidable cases The values in the table correspond to standard DIN 50 150 Edition December 2000 The Brinell hardness value is hardened and annealed tempered steels are shown in tabular form The conversion is based on the results of trials carried out on tempered steels which were hardened and annealed according to standard TGL 6574 The type of steels examined are listed in the table below The table gives the relations between the materials described according to standards TGL 6574 and DIN EN 10083 1 Tempered steels
