As an associate professor in XYZ Department, my research interests are similar to yours and I believe that we could therefore work together on the ABC Project, the results of which could be published potentially in several journals. The dates that would work best for our joint research project would be Fall Semester 2010 (mid August to mid December). It is my understanding that Illinois State University will not be responsible for your travel, salary, housing, meals or living expenses.
