Module 3 My new schoolUnit 1 There are 46 students in my school.吕标初中 范存斌 刘秀芹【学习目标】1.知识目标:掌握下列重点单词和词组的意思及用法there, forty-six, computer, dictionary, library, picture, television, right, fifteen, sixty, eighty,ninety2.能力目标:能在实际情境中运用句型:there is / there are3.情感目标:培养学生热爱学校,热爱自己家园的意识。【教学重难点】: 1.重点句式:There is a/ an. There are 2.难点:There is a/ an. There are 的具体用法。【教学过程】课前朗读: 朗读there, forty-six, computer, dictionary, library, picture, television, right, fifteen, sixty, eighty,ninety,根据音标读出单词并了解汉语意思,养成学生自主学习词汇的习惯,促使学生迅速进入学习状态。检查词汇预习:a.取学生结对、小组互查等形式来检查学生对词汇的预习情况。b.朗读单词,注意发音。一、情境导入教师可问学生:How many students are there in our class? How many boys are there in our class? How many girls are there in our class?此时教师可以此为情境,导入本课。二、小听力(自主完成,合作释疑) 听Activity 2 ,选择正确的图片,使单词得以更好地应用。三、大听力 多层听1. 听activity 3判断下列句子的正与误。1)In Bettys school there are 20 students in a class.( )2)In Damings class there are 25 girls. ( )3)There is a computer on Miss Lis desk. ( )4)There are computers in Damings classroom. ( )5) There arent any computers in Bettys classroom. ( )2. 听activity3,完成activity 4的题目,设计由易到难,培养学生边听边做笔记的习惯,完成后让学生小组内交流答案。3.听后说该听力材料主要涉及了There is a/ anThere are 的具体用法,让学生主动站起来,谈论一下自己的班级里的物品及男女的人数。四、理解意思1.小组内合作解决activity 3的汉语意思,找出不懂的地方。2.小组间合作解决不懂的地方,教师适时点拨。五、突破重点与难点(一)对重点内容和疑难问题进行合作探究学习。1)There are 20 students in our class.句子的意思是;其否定式为_. Where is /are ? 三、教学过程 (一)复习检测1.检查词汇预习:让学生齐读本课16-17页的新单词和短语(from “gym” to “building”),目的是培养学生的朗读习惯,同时巩固预习效果。齐读后,小组内成员互相检查单词、短语的预习情况。老师每组抽查一人。2.旧知检测:听写下列句子和短语:(组长交叉检查)1)There are 20 students in our class.2)There isnt a computer on Miss Lis desk.。短语:1. in our school 2. on your desks3. on the blackboard4. twenty students 5. on our desks(二)情景导入问同学们是否知道学校里的各建筑物的具体位置,让学生用英语相互问答,激发学生的兴趣,以此进入新课(三)多层阅读1.目的性泛读:1)快速阅读Activity 2、根据图a掌握behind,next to , in front of所表示的位置概念。然后根据图b回答下列问题。(1) where is Daming?(2) where are Lingling and Tony?(3)Where are Betty and Daming?2.快速阅读Activity 3:Read Bettys homework and write the names of the places . 完成Activity 3。3.细节考查仔细默读文章,然后回答下列问题:1)Are there any school offices in Bettys school?2) Where are the classroom in Bettys school?3) Where s the library in Bettys school?4) Are there any science labs in Bettys school?5) Is there a dining hall in Bettys school?
