一、记忆词汇方法1. 结合语境(context-based)记单词But the best reason for the success of the program may be that it makes every child watching it feel able to learn. (这个节目办得成功的最重要原因在于它使得每一个观看该节目的孩子感到他可以有所得) 这句话涵盖了以下几个知识点：1. 形容词的最高级 (the best reason)2. reason 一词的常用搭配 (the reason for sth. is that)3. 使役动词make的用法 make sb. do sth. (make every child feel)4. 分词短语作定语修饰名词child5. able 的用法be able to do (to feel)2. 使用联想记忆联想某一个单词和其他学过的词是否在拼写上类似，或读音类似，或意思类似或相反。如果有，就把它们放在一起，加以整理记忆。这样，以后学习其他词，也会联想起这个词.praise(表扬)，从拼写上看，如果我们划去首字母，那末我们将得到另外一个单词raise(举起，增加，筹集等)；从发音上看，praise与price, place, prison发音很相似；从同义词、近义词和反义词的角度看，我们可以联想它的近义词和反义词encouragement 和criticism。3. 反复记忆(repetition) 要注意单词的反复记忆过程要符合大脑的遗忘规律，即逐渐延长这一次与上一次记忆单词的时间间隔。二、扩大词汇量利用词缀扩大词汇量，词缀包括前缀和后缀。我们来看几个大家比较熟悉的单词：able sense compete通过加前缀和后缀，我们可以得到下列派生词：able unable ability inability enable disabledsense nonsense sensible sensitive sensitivityThe five senses are sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.a sense of humor / responsibility / securitycommon senseThere is no sense in doing sth.There is no sense in arguing with him.make sense This sentence doesnt make any sense.it is sensible of sb. to doIt is sensible of you to take his advice.be sensitive (to)She is very sensitive to cold / heat.
