Section A(3a-4) 教学设计授 课 人:刘 梅 指导教师:李 书 伟单 位:张庄镇初级中学访问链接:/search/wenku/huodong/teach.html省 份:河南省 郑州市学校全称:中牟县张庄镇初级中学通讯地址:河南省郑州市中牟县张庄镇邮 编:451450联系电话nit10 Its a nice day ,isnt it ?Section A(3a-4) 教学设计一Teaching background : 本单元以“Small talk ”为话题,旨在通过单元教学,帮助学生掌握在什么情况下使用small talk 以及如何用small talk 和陌生人交谈,并能辨别什么样的small talk 是得体的,什么样的是不得体的,进而了解中西方在这方面的文化差异,增强他们在日常生活中的沟通和交际能力。二Teaching topic : “Small talk”为本单元的教学课题,在学生初步掌握了small talk 的用法后,学习tag question 的表达法,这也是本单元的语法重点;如何写感谢信是本单元的写作任务,学生将学习如何为不同的主题写感谢信,表达谢意。三Teaching analysis :本单元教学内容为人教版八年级下Unit10 Its a nice day ,isnt it ?本单元围绕“Small talk”这个话题,设计了相关的语言情境展开教学,学习small talk在英语表达中的意义,重点学习英语的“反意问句”。通过本单元的看图说话,句型操练语境描述,对话表演等专项训练,培养学生的英语实际应用能力。Section A描述与陌生人闲聊时的注意事项,学习应该聊些什么,如何展开话题。1a 介绍什么是small talk 并让学生根据图片判断什么样的场合会发生small talk ,由此引入本单元的主题;1b 让学生听三段对话录音,根据听到的顺序给图片排序,帮助学生从听力材料中了解、获取目标语言;1c 是一个口头会话练习,指导学生如何用目标语言进行对话;2a和2b 是两个听力活动,通过听力训练帮助学生进一步了解目标语言的用法,介绍如何将small talk 进行下去;2c 要求学生设想一个在公交车站的small talk 场景并结对完成对话,是对学生的一种语言输出练习;3a 要求学生阅读并补充一段small talk 对话,是对目标语言的阅读和写作训练;3b 要求学生口头练习3a 中的对话并和同伴用提供的情景写一段small talk 对话,然后进行口头练习,是对目标语言的写作和口语训练;4 给学生提供了一个应用所学语言的机会,要求他们设想并表演出和一些陌生人之间的small talk ,帮助学生认识和不同的人应该有不同的small talk 话题。 Section B主要谈论用闲聊来加强人际关系,通过学习与陌生人闲聊天以达到了解,关心别人,增进友谊。1a 让学生判断图片中的提供的哪些问题是合适的small talk 问题,哪些是不合适的,从而进一步了解关于small talk 的文化含义,即东西方文化差异;1b 在1a的基础上的口头训练,强化学生对small talk 问题合理与否的认识;2a 和2b是两个听力练习,要求学生能根据small talk 的内容辨别其地点并学会对small talk 的做应答;2c 又是一个小组口头活动,帮助学生在small talk 中学习使用正确的Opening questions;3a 是一篇有关thank-you note 阅读材料,要求学生根据材料内容判别表示感谢的不同情境,了解什么是感谢信,哪些情况需要写感谢信;3b 和3c 是感谢信的两个写作训练,即语言输出训练;4设计了一个情景,要求学生运用所学句型设想可能的small talk ,并进行会话练习,体现了目标语言的功能性。Self check 1是要求学生对几个重点词汇进行填空训练,帮助学生在语境中学习、巩固词汇;2 要求学生根据图片完成对话,是对学生语言应用能力的综合检验;3 也是对目标语言运用的检验,要求学生根据图片所提供的情景作对应的会话练习,把目标语言和真实场景结合起来,培养学生应用语言的能力。四 .Teaching aims:自主学习与小组合作相结合,听说与读写相结合,知识学习与技能培养相结合。采用“任务型教学”教学模式,首先在第一课时把本单元的学习句式和任务make some small talk 布置给学生,同时提供学生完成任务所需要的语言素材,以此帮助学生在学习过程中形成主动的学习状态,然后通过操练,听力,培养学生的实际能力。本单元的第二课时从听力的角度,继续展开目标语言的输入,在此基础上提高学生的阅读能力,同时锻炼学生的小组合作能力和写作能力。第三课时主要是提高学生的听力和综合应用能力使学生对形式多样的活动感兴趣. 第四课时主要是提高学生的读写能力,合作学习能力,教会学生学写感谢信,学会感恩。Teaching goals :1、 描述与陌生人聊天就注意的事项,学习该聊些什么,如何将话题展开。2、通过学习与陌生人聊天来达到了解关心别人并增进友谊。Important and difficult points :1. 1).The usage of tag questions.(附加问句) 2). A tape recorder. 3.ppt.Teaching procedures:Teaching of new lesson : Section A(3a-4)Step.Revision:First show a small blackboard .Then ask students to fill in the blanks with tag questions.1. Now first look at the instructions,then ask the students to think of answers that would be correct in blank 1 . For example ,Im going to the beach on hot days .Ask students to finish writing the sentences on their own in ten minutes .Move around the room and offer help as needed .Ask a few pairs of students to read their completed conversations to the class .Write some of the new sentences students use on the blackboard and discuss the sentences with the class. (板书 the new sentences)Ask students to read the completed conversations loudly for 5 minutes .Step . Pairwork.(3b)Show some ppt. And ask students one by one :What are they doing ? Students answers the questions .Then look at the situations and make a new conversation to report it to the class .Ask students to read the completed conversations loudly for 5 minutes .Practice the conversation in activity 3a and act out 3a.Now write and practice another converation with your partners .And you can use the situations like these and some possibleo pening questions.(开场白)Ask another student to read the list of possible conversational situations .Then ask students to use their own words to explain what each one means in Chinese.Ask students to read the completed conversations loudly for 5 minutes .Ask pairs to practice the conversation in 3a together.Tell the students to write a new conversation together using one of the ideas in the list or using their own ideas if choose one of the ppt. And make a new conversation like 3a .And report it to the class.Are you clear ? they wish.Help students choose a situation: Then ask for suggestions for an opening line and other parts of the converstion. And write the conversation on the board .Ask a pair to read the completed conversation to the class.Next ask pairs of students to make their own conversation . As they work , move around the room and offer help as needed .Ask a few pairs of students to present their conversations for the class. (two or three pairs )Step.Ask students to use the language of the unit to think of small conversations with strangers. First read the instructions to the class .and ask students to identify the people in the pictures (a student ,a farmer ,an old man and a businessman.) Ask other students to give sample topics of conversations .Topics should be suitable for each person. Ask students to work in groups and role play the conversations. Ask a few students to present the conversation for the class .( two or three pairs .)Step .Make a conclusion. This class we have learned tag questions and how to make a small talk with strangers. I hope so. 我希望如此。此处so 是副词,用作替代词。意为“如此”“如是”。如-Our team will win. 我们队会赢的。-I hope so. 我希望如此。2. by 不迟于;在什么之前Do you think itll stop by noon? 你认为中午之前雨会停吗?By then he was more than fifty years of age. 到那时他已经五十多岁了。3. I hope the bus comes soon. 我希望汽车快点儿来。在hope的宾语从句中,既可以用一般将来时表示将来时间,也可以用一般现在时表示将来时间,如本句。再如:I hope she likes / will like the flowers. 我希望她回喜欢花。We all hope you get / will get well soon. 我们都希望你能不久痊愈。 4. look through 浏览;翻阅;看一遍Look through this plan for me, and tell me what you think of it. 替我看一遍这项计划,并把你的想法告诉我。Therere some important papers I have to look through tonight. 有些重要的文件需要我今晚看。5. Sometimes it isnt easy being the new kid at school. 有时在学校里做个新生可真不容易。it代表动名词表示的主语,如本句。再如:Its a waste of time talking to him. 和他谈话是白费时间。It isnt fun staying at home by yourself. 一个人待在家里没意思。6. come along 可以表示意外地“出现”“来到”或“发生”,如:Take any opportunity that comes along. 抓住每一个出现的机会。A bus should come along any time now. 现在公共汽车随时都可能会来。7. be friendly to sb. 对某人友好或对某人友善;Be friendly with sb. 和某人关系好或同某人要好。试比较:Hes not very friendly to newcomers. 他对新来的人不太友善。The classmates in our class are friendly with each other. 我们班上的同学相互关系都很好。8. He sure is(他)的确是(这样)。(1)这里sure是副词,意为“确实地”,是美国的俗语说法。如:It sure was very cold.天确实很冷。He sure is a good man.他的确是个好人。(2)sure主要作形容词用。如:I think shes coming, but Im not quite sure.我想她会来的,但不太肯定。Are you sure of your facts? 你确信你说的都是真的吗?9. To have successful small talk, both people need to ask questions.要想使聊天顺利进行,两个人都需要提出问题。(1)both在这里作形容词用,意为“两个都”,如:I saw him on both occasions. 在那两个场合我都见过他。You cant have it both ways. 你不能鱼和熊掌兼得。both经常用作代词。如:Both of us want to go to the park.我们两个够想去公园。What would you like, coke or juice both“你是要可乐和果汁”“两个都要”both作主语时只能用肯定形式。表示“两个都不”时,要用反义词。如:Both of them are from Canada.他们两个都是加拿大人。Neither of them is from Canada.他们两个都不是加拿大人。(2)need在这里作实意动词用,意为“需要”,后面常跟名词或不定式。如:Do you need any help?你需要什么帮助?Which bus do I need to take?我要乘几路车?need 也可做情态动词,但一般只用在否定句中。如:You neednt wash these dishes. 这些盘子你不用洗。Need I explain once more? 需要我再解释一次吗?10. alone意为“单独、独自”相当于(all)by himself。如:Were alone on this island. (Were all by ourselves on this island.)这个岛上就我们这些人。She always goes home alone. (She always goes home by himself). 她总是一个人回家。11. 辨析:alone/lonelylonely为形容词,意为“孤独的,荒凉的”可用作定语和表语,而alone既可以用作形容词也可以作副词用,表示客观上无人陪伴。但形容词用时只可用作表语。如:He lives in a lonely place alone.他独自住在荒郊野外。He was alone, but he didnt feel lonely. 他虽独自一人,但并不感到寂寞。12. wait to do sth. 等候做某事,cant wait to do sth. 等不及做某事。如:The reporters are waiting at the airport to welcome the hero back.记者门在机场等候欢迎英雄凯旋。The children cant wait to open the presents in the stockings.孩子门迫不及待的要打开袜子里的礼物。13. 辨析 cross, crossing和across(1)cross n. 十字形,十字记号 vt. 穿过,越过,横过(2)crossing n. 十字路口,交叉点(3)across prep. 穿过;横穿 例:Be careful when you cross the road.过马路时要小心。Turn right at the second crossing.在第二个十字路口往右拐。Go across the bridge, youll find the hospital.越过这座桥,你就会看到这家医院。14. cost 意为“值”“花费”,通常以物作主语,即:某物花(某人)多少钱。如:That house cost him 3000 000. 那所房子花了他万。It costs them 10 000 a year to run a car. 使用一部小汽车每年花他们一万。15. I feel like part of the group now. 我感觉像这个群体的一部分了。feel like.“感觉像” 后面跟名词或动名词。如:I feel like flying.我感觉像在飞。She feels like dreaming.她感觉像在做梦。但是如果后面跟动名词的话,一般是表示“想要”的意思,等于want。如:He doesnt feel well and he doesnt feel like eating anything. (He doesnt feel well and he doesnt want to eat anything)他不舒服,不想吃东西。Do you feel like going for a walk? (Do you want to go for a walk)你想出去散步吗?五.语法知识1. 反意疑问句是用以要求对方证实所陈述之事,它由两部分组成,前面是陈述句,后面是简短问句。如果前面是肯定句,后面一般是否定问句,如果前面是否定句,则后面多是肯定句。2. 反意疑问句使用中应注意以下几个方面: 除There be句型外,疑问部分的主语必须是与陈述部分的主语在人称数性方面保持一致的人称代词。 There be句型的疑问部分的主语用there。There is going to be a class meeting on Friday afternoon, isnt there? 当陈述部分的主语是everyone, someone, anyone, no one等不定代词时,其疑问部分的主语可用he, 也可用they。Everyone knows his job, doesnt he?Everyone enjoyed their weekends, didnt they? 如果陈述部分的谓语动词带有助动词或情态动词,疑问部分则使用相同的助词或情态动词。You can swim, cant you? 如果陈述部分的谓语动词是系动词Be,则疑问部分也用系动词。Beijing is a beautiful city, isnt it? 如果陈述部分的谓语动词既不是系动词Be,也不带助动词或情态动词时,疑问部分要用do。Your father likes playing basketball, doesnt he? Will you? Wont you? Would you? Can you? Cant you? Could you? 用于祈使句后的疑问部分。用Wont表示“邀请,”will, would, can, 和 cant 表示“请求”。否定的祈使句后只能用will you。Try the new dress on, will you?Dont be late next time, will you?注:祈使句Lets.后,用shall we,let us.后用will you。 Lets go home, shall we?
