Properties of polymersmechanical property: 机械（力学）性能stress & strain应力，应变 应变：材料受外力作用时，几何形状及尺寸的变化(modulus 复数moduli)模量：单位应变时的应力，表征材料抵抗变形的能力 =应力/应变mechanical strength机械强度（抵抗外力破坏能力）tensile strength 抗张强度，拉伸强度，材料沿轴向拉伸断裂时impact strength 冲击强度（衡量材料韧性） stiffness刚度hardness材料表面抵抗机械压力能力的指标 elongation 伸长率toughness刚性（度）optical property: clarity透明度 brittleness脆性 electrical property: electrical breakdown 介电击穿 conductivity电导率dielectric loss 介电损耗(变为热量)3. 科技期刊论文的一般格式Title标题Abstract摘要Key words关键字Contents内容( Introduction介绍 theory or experiment理论或实验 . results and discussions讨论或结论）Acknowledgements致谢References参考文献Abstract摘要一概述Abstract摘要 A brief statement of the essential content of a book, article, speech, court record, ect., 摘要在文章中的位置Title标题Abstract摘要Key words关键字Contents内容( Introduction介绍 theory or experiment理论或实验 . results and discussions讨论或结论）Acknowledgements致谢References参考文献（一）重要性及格式1顾名思义，即摘录文章的要点。指的是位于正文前的一段概括性文字，是对文献内容所做的简略、准确的描述，主要用于介绍正文的实质性内容。目前，信息量越来越大，如何从浩如烟海的文献资料中迅速找到最有价值的资料，人们依靠摘要来选择对其工作有价值的读物，这是因为摘要可为读者提供文献的缩影。如CA(Chemical Abstract ), EI(Engineering Index). 联合国教科文组织规定了科技期刊标准，公开发表的正式论文都必须有英文摘要。2摘要放于标题和正文之间，还要从正文中选取35个最能说明内容特点的词或词组，列于摘要下方，以便编制内容索引。（二）摘要的写作原则最主要的是要忠于原文；应以文字叙述为主，做到言简意赅，以客观为主，不做评论。（三）内容特点1理论性研究论文，以陈述为主，内容主要是研究的课题和目标，指导思想，论据，结论及应用的可能性等；2实验性研究论文，以资料性为主，内容主要应包括研究项目和目标，实验方案和主要设备，实验数据，结论及理论意义或实用价值。二摘要分类（一）体裁分类1陈述性文摘，只对文献做概括性介绍，不加任何资料性说明，一般内容为：研究的问题，得出的结论及建议等，特点：篇幅小，主题突出，不超过150字，用的最广的体裁。2资料性文摘，以突出新发现，新结论或新见解为主，主要内容，研究方法，实验手段，主要数据，发现，结论和建议等。由于主要介绍和实验性数据，篇幅略长，但一般不宜超过300字。最典型的资料性文摘如CA（二）用途分类 三阅读方法及技巧四写作方法（一）基本写作方法1中心扩展法2论文目录扩展法3翻译法（二）内容写作方法1. 论文摘要的起首句应用最多的是直接式起首句，即开门见山说明论文的主题，常用以下三种句型 主语（一般为说明文件性质的名词）+位于动词（主动语态）+并于或其它成份做主语的名词有：article, paper, thesis, design, invention, work等，该句型常用的动词有deal with（阐述，处理）, discuss（讨论），introduce, describe, investigate, summary如This paper introduces a formulation system on low density and cold molding PU flexible foam.（论文介绍了低密度冷模塑聚氨酯泡沫塑料的配方体系）该句型表述的重点是宾语，由宾语引出摘要的主要内容 主语(论文主题的有关内容)+被动语态谓语+其它成分，如The mechanism of reaction between water and TDI was explored in making flexible PU foam.(对软质聚氨酯泡沫塑料发泡反应中水与TDI反应机理进行了探讨) The purpose (objective/aim) + of + 主语(一般是说明文件性质的名词)+ be +to不定式这种结构的起始句主要介绍研究项目的目的即研究工作的性质，如The purpose of this research is to investigate the feasibility of using surface treated recycled rubber particles for toughening of epoxy polymers.该研究的目的是考察用表面处理的再生橡胶粒子对环氧树脂进行增韧的可行性。另外，还可用we做主语的起首句，用于说明作者所从事的研究工作(常用现在完成时或过去时)，或说明作者在论文中主要论述什么（常用现在时），但需注意：只有涉及到作者所做的工作或推导的结论等内容时，才用we做主语，例We discuss the influence of processing parameters on the flow field mixing efficiency.我们将讨论加工参数对流动系统混合效率的影响2. 论文摘要中描述研究方法，实验手段等的句例例 The modified fibers are then extruded with the modified polymer matrix to form the compatibilized composite.改性的纤维同改性的聚合物基料一同挤出形成相容的混合物例 In order to investigate the effect of the polymer melt viscosity on the working domain in reactive extrusion, the copolymer was crosslinked with different amounts of divinylbenzene (DVB)为了考察聚合物熔体粘度对反应挤出工作范围的影响，用不同含量的二乙烯苯对聚合物进行交联3. 摘要中表示结论和建议的句例例 The modification is found to introduce significant grafting of the modifiers onto the polymer chains and thus results in improved mechanical properties.经改性研究发现，利用改性剂对聚合物主链进行有效接枝可提高体系的力学性能例 In general, the investigation presented in this paper suggests that density relaxation plays an important role in the development of residual stresses, in molded parts.总之，该论文的调查提出：密度松弛对模塑制品中残留应力的发展有很大影响。其它的如: The study shows thatThe experimental results indicated that五摘要示例摘要较短但并非摘课文的第一句话，关键是要说明问题，既要全面又要精炼，再比如毕业论文4050页，要几百字才能说明问题：研究的是什么，采用什么方法及过程，得到了什么结果）对于paper(研究论文) 几十字到百十字即可，往往用自己的文字更好，也可先写出中文再翻译。例1：Flow directions in the gas assisted injection molding technologyAbstract: A method is introduced to predict the preferred direction of gas in gas assisted injection molding processes.
