Brainstorm: Some words for food, Chinese or foreign.Step 2: With the topic of this module, introduce the quotations about food in Exercise 1.Pair work: choose one quotation both of them agree with, and try to explain by paraphrasing the quotation and providing more reasons.Suggested answers: 1. Everything you see I owe to spaghetti. - Sophia Loren, Italian actress你所看见的(我的身材)都是吃意大利通心粉所赐。By saying this, she means she likes eating spaghetii and it is spaghetti that helps build her good figure. 2. Thus one should choose his/her food properly. 4. Cookery is not chemistry. But we should not go on with our life with only one purpose, which is to eat. Step 3: Find some similar Chinese quotations.
