竖型：!中文摘要随着中国经济的腾飞，跨文化交流的机会越来越多，社会对英语人才的需求也越来越大。因此，对于中国人来说，懂英语变得非常重要。其实，不同的人会在英语学习的不同方面取得成功，比如说有的人口语好，有的人写作强。而在影响人们英语学习的诸多因素中，人格因素是非常值得注意的一环。本文的写作目的是探索中国大学生在英语学习过程中，人格特征与学习效果之间可能存在的联系。最终目的是为中国教师和学生的英语教与学提供一些发现和建议，确切地说，本文由六个相对独立的篇章组成，每章都围绕着人格与英语学习这一中心展开论述。第一章描述了研究的目的，起源和问题。作者首先界定了研究目的，进而交待了研究的起源。接着作者指出，汉语环境下的英语学习与别的国家有很大不同，所以，本文旨在西方国家研究的基础上，针对我国特殊国情，提出新的观点和问题的解决方案。第二章清晰阐述了与人格特征和英语学习有关的理论知识。作者首先讨论了人格的基本概念，然后介绍了一些不同立场的人格特征理论，其中以艾森克的理论最为重要。在本章的后半部分，作者还进一步详细介绍了内外向与英语学习的关系。第三章主要是讲解一些研究方法，包括问卷调查法(
