Unit 1 Introduction to Academic English1.Objective: The aim of the study unit is to encourage the students to understand the importance of academic English. The unit will focus on the usage of academic English, targets of the course, main content of the course and introduction to literature. After completing the unit, students will have knowledge and understanding in: 1) the importance and the usage of academic English;2) the basics of academic English in speaking and writing;3) literature: Oxford: A Short Introduction and Academic English2.
