words.知识目标:学习20个赞美词汇,包括发音,意义和用法ability object: to be able to compliment others from appearance and personality using different sentence patterns能力目标:学习用不同的句式从人物的外貌和性格两个方面来称赞他人moral object: to be able to find the beauty in their daily life and use what they have learned to give compliments to others情感目标:通过赞美词汇的学习,鼓励学生善于观察生活中的美,并用所学内容赞美身边的人和事物ii. teaching important and difficult points教学重难点1、to learn meaning, spelling and use of those complimentary words对20个赞美词汇意义、拼写和用法的掌握patient amazing romantic impressiveadorable responsible attractive frankfabulous independent elegant humorouscandid glamorous industrious charmingbrilliant ambitious polite radiant2、to use different sentence patterns to give compliments in real situations and respond to others compliments others in two aspectsappearance and personality激发学生兴趣,活跃课堂,引导学生归纳出描述人需要包含的外貌、性格两个方面,从而引出本节课教学的赞美词汇4mins4分钟task onesuper brain最强大脑:赞美人物外貌的词汇(活动一(1)to play a video twice and make students circle words they see and remember them as quickly as possible 播放一段视频两次,让学生将视频中看到的词汇圈出来,并速记单词意思1.to circle words they see in the first time 2.to write down the meaning of those words on the worksheet1、播放第一遍,圈出看到的词2、播放第二遍,把单词的意思,完成第一题练习题to make students feel a sense of urgency by a competition of vocabulary of appearance通过竞赛的形式,让学生有了紧迫感,速记这些赞美人物外貌的词的音、形、义4mins4分钟task one-super brain最强大脑:(赞美人物性格的词汇)(活动一(2)to guide ss. to observe words that have not been circled引导学生观察没有被圈出来的词汇to observe the words that have not been circled and remember them as quickly as possible观察没有被圈出词汇的共同点,速记单词to make students feel a sense of urgency by a competition of vocabulary of personality通过竞赛的形式,让学生有了紧迫感,速记这些赞美人物性格的词的音、形、义8 mins8 分钟task two-free talk自由描述(赞美人的句子)(活动二)to present a group of pictures and encourage ss. to use proper words to fill in the blank and make complete sentences展示一组图片,引导学生根据图片,找到合适的单词填空,用完整的句子赞美人to use proper words to fill in the blank and make complete sentences分组竞赛,用合适的单词填空,用尽可能多的句子完整地描述图片pictures all come from students present to encourage students to use certain sentence patterns to compliment others所选图片均来自学生身边的人,让学生学会在不同语境下应用目标单词16 mins16分钟task three-role play角色扮演:用所学的单词和句子赞美他人(活动三)to present words and sentence patterns ss. learned and instruct them to apply to real situations展示之前所学的词汇和句子,引导学生将其用于真实情境中的赞美,并回应他人的赞美work in groups and apply what they have learned in performance分组表演,将所学的单词,句式运用于表演中to engage ss. to apply what theyve learned by performance. in this part, students will be fully motivated引导学生把输入的词汇和句式,通过口语和肢体表演呈现出来,本环节的生成可调动学生积极参与,使课堂气氛活跃4mins3分钟summary课堂小结to guide ss. to summarize what they have learned and highlighted the teachers compliments on students performance引导学生回顾知识,强调教师有意识地在整节课中贯穿对学生表现的赞许to review and sort out what they have learned today 回顾本节课的学习内容,梳理知识点to encourage students to find the beauty around them and give compliments使学生学会观察身边的美,学会赞美身边的人和事2mins2分钟homework作业布置to assign homework家庭作业to be clear about the requirement of homework明确作业要求ss. need to review those words and sentence patterns after class because vocabulary learning cannot be completed by one lesson由于记忆单词不能一次完成,需要学生在课后做好复习,才能将单词彻底内化viteaching reflection 教学反思this lesson aims at teaching students 20 complimentary words and useful sentence patterns and using them in real situations. teaching procedures are designed with increasing difficulties. first, the teacher guides students to learn the pronunciation, form and meaning of those words. then, the teacher asks students to compliment people around them by filling in the blanks and making correct and logical sentences. at last, the teacher engages students to work in groups and use what theyve learned to perform situations of compliment. the highlight of this lesson is using competition and choosing teaching material that students are familiar with so as to arouse their interests and take an active part in the class, among which the last procedure reached a climax of this class. however, there are still some problems. for example, the time used for each teaching procedure can be better arranged and put more time in presentation. in addition, the teacher should give more background knowledge to guide students to learn pronunciation, form and meaning in specific context.本节课目标为使学生掌握20个赞美词汇以及有用的句型,并将其应用于实际生活中的对话,学会赞美他人
