unit 4 whats the best movie theater?第六课时 section b 3a - self check (写作课)teaching goals:一、功能:talk about your town according to discuss preferences and making comparisons.-how do you like it so far?-its fantastic, but i still dont know my way around.-whats the best movie theater to go to?- town cinema. its the closest to home. and you can buy tickets the most quickly there. 二、词汇和常用表达:learn to use the superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs (creative,crowded ect.)and the useful expressions( the best place to, one of , there is something for ect.)三、学习策略:通过谈论身边熟悉的事物引出写作话题,再以思维图为线索进行联系构思,通过小组合作和竞争培养写作兴趣。四、文化知识: lets work hard to make our hometown more beautiful !lets show the beauty of our hometown to the friends all over the world !(努力学习,建设美好家乡!热爱家乡,赞美家乡!) (目标引领:从功能、词汇和常用表达学习策略及文化知识四个方面阐述了本节课的教学目标,层次清晰,一目了然。)teaching and learning steps:step1. warming up and lead-intask 1 chant together.t: hello, everone! lets chant together. task 2 talk about tengzhou.talk about their national day .t: where did you go on vacation?s: i went to beijing.s: i went to jinan. s: t: i think tengzhou is also a good place to have fun. it has many fun places and things around us. can you think of some? first, lets enjoy a vedio together.t: tengzhou has many fun places and things. please say out them as many as you can.s: some movie theaters.s: some supermarkets.s: some delicious food.s:t: good job. i think of a good place. have you been there?describe pictures with new words and phrases.task 3. talk about green wood parkt: jinghe park is a good place to have fun. do you want to know another beautiful park? lets visit green wood park together. first, lets have a pk. the teacher shows the words and others say out the superlative forms as soon as possible.【设计意图】利用精美的图片激发学生练习说话的热情,这种深入浅出的“开场白”,具有承前启后,温故而知新的作用,且有利于中下等学生进入状态,扎实推进。step2. pre-writing activitiestask 1: read and fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms.task 2: fast -readingread the whole passage quickly and find out the topic sentence and conclusion sentencetask3: careful -readingread the passage carefully and fill in the chart.task 4: rank the sentences【设计意图】无论是通过阅读逐步完成阅读任务还是利用排列句子的形式呈现咨询信息的例文,都可以锻炼学生连句成文的能力,并为下一步总结文章结构提供素材。step 3. conclude the writing method show the students the full passage. let the students read it freely. t:this is the full passage. please read it freely.then guide them to analyze the structure of the article by discussing in group according to the mind map.after that, let several students say the connecting sentences one by one.t: well done! can you write an article like that? s: yes.t: lets try!【设计意图】通过阅读指引学生按照思维导图找出相对应的句子,使学生对文章的结构有一个清晰地认识,这比老师直接讲解灌输效果要好的多,这样设计锻炼了学生自主解决问题的能力,同时帮助学生理清了咨询信的结构。step 4. while-writing activities:1 . group workthink about some of the best places/things in tengzhou. why are they the best?work in group of six. talk about fun places and things together. choose one part and tell the reason with superlative forms correctly.2. write an outline(拟定提纲)t: prepare your passage orally according to the details in the chart and the mind map. then ill ask someone to read to the class. give ss 3 or 4 minutes to write an outline.3. have the students write the article using the sentence patterns in 3b . when theyre writing, the teacher walks around the classroom. give the students some help if they need.【设计意图】正如语文课上写作文要先打草稿一样,拟草稿是写好英语作文的第一步。在此框架内填枝加叶,充实内容,才能一步步顺利成篇。由布局谋篇的技巧学习过渡到实际运用,从热身活动过渡到实际操练。step5 post-writing activities: 1. correct articles here is an evaluation scale(评价标准). have a look. let the students exchange their articles to correct.t: modify each others letter in pairs according to the evaluation scale above. correct mistakes as possible as you can.【设计意图】以学习小组为单位,互评互改,在批改中学习,在批改中提高,取长补短,即所谓“兵教兵”。与教师逐篇批改相比,这种做法省时省力见效快。2. show time 1) each group hands in one passage . teacher shows them on the screen and evaluate them one by one. 2) choose several ss to evaluate the passage item by item in the evaluation scale. 3)students exchange their composition with their partners, and evaluate the composition by item in the evaluation scale. t: ill show them on the screen. the group leaders will give a grade (等级) to each letter according to the evaluation scale. a. best b. better c. good d. just so-so praise top three letters .【设计意图】教师从不同小组随机抽取3-5篇作文,投影到大屏幕。教师先做评价示范,学生再对本组作品评价,推选出本组最佳作品,交给教师,投影到大屏幕。各小组组长为评委,按a、b、c、d四个档次投票,排名前三为优秀。step 6 emotional educationt: we talked a lot about tengzhou. tengzhou is our hometown. we love it very much. but tengzhou is not famous enough in china. what should we do in the future?s: work hard to make it more and more beautiful!t: wonderful! lets work hard to make our hometown mor
