Unit 1 This is me!Welcome to the unit(第一课时)合山市实验初级中学 梁子群教材分析Welcome to the unit是本单元的第一课时, 主要目的是激发学生的学习兴趣,通过Eddie和Hobo两只小狗之间的对话,引出本单元的学习重点。通过认识六位新朋友,学会向他人进行问候并学会自我介绍。学会熟练运用句型“Whats your name? / My name is / Im ”来巩固所学句型。教学目标:掌握词汇:e-dog, master, oh 词组:good morning, good afternoon, good evening句型:Im . Whats your name? My name is Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you.基本技能1. 认识两个卡通角色Eddie和Hobo和阳光中学的六名学生。2. 学会用英语和别人打招呼并学会用英语介绍自己。教学重难点及突破重点:运用一些简单的句式进行自我介绍。难点:新同学相互间的自我介绍。教学突破:课前让学生了解班级同学的姓名,尤其是本小组同学,这样有利于课堂对话的开展。教学准备教师准备:多媒体课件 学生准备:闹钟或手表,预习课本中的六位新朋友,将人与名字匹配起来。 教学设计Step I Lead-in (导入部分)l. T: Hello! Everyone. First lets meet two new friendsEddie and Hobo. Eddie is a lovely dog . Hobo is an e-dog .T: Excuse me , do you have a dog at home ? Oh, you have a dog at home . so you are the master . You look after it .(板书,领读并释义)Step II Presentation(新授部分)l. Now listen to Eddie and Hobos dialogue and answer the question :Who is Hobos master ? (Hobos master is Eddie .)2. Now open your books at P6 , look at the pictures and answer: Whats in Hobos hand ? (There is a book in Hobs hand )Whats the name of the book ? (The books name is How to look after your e-dog .)Step III Practice(操练)l. Well done! Class. Now, please read the comic strip after the tape.2. Wonderful! Please read the dialogue in pairs. 两人一组,请大家分角色朗读这篇对话。OK . Heres a chance for some of you to come to the front and role play for us . Volunteer , please!Step IV Present Welcome to the unit (新授Welcome to the unit)l. Now lets meet some more friends They are from Sunshine Middle School . Please look at the pictures in Part A and tell me their names . (They are Amy ,Simon ,Millie , Kitty , Sandy and Daniel)T: OK. And now, please read their conversation together.T: Now, its your turn to say hello to your new classmates. Please make a short conversation with your new desk mate.T: When does Amy meet Simon? S: In the morning.T: Yes. In the morning. How do you know? S: She says “Good morning” to Simon.T: Yes ! She says “Good morning” to Simon. You are so clever. people use different greetings at different times.2. T: Look at Part B. Help Millie write the correct greetings under the pictures. T: Now, lets check the answer. Whats the time? S: Its two forty-five p.m. T: Yes. Its two forty-five p.m. What should Millie say to Kitty? S: Good afternoon. T: Quite good. She should say:“Good afternoon.” 3. T: OK, listen and answer. T: I get up at 6:30 a.m. what should I say to my parents ? S: Good morning .T: Our PE class is in the afternoon, so what should we say to the PE teacher? S: Good afternoon.T: I have supper at my grandparents home, what should I say to them.? S: Good evening .T: Well done .4. T: Now , listen to the tape and answer the question .Who are greeting each other ?(Millie and Sandy are greeting each other )T: Listen to the tape and read the dialogue .T: Now please look at the blackboard and read together :A: Hello / Hi. Im . Whats your name ? B: Hi. My name is . Nice to meet you . A : Nice to meet you , too .T: Millie and Sandy are friends now. Do you want to make friends with your new classmates? Work in pairs . Greet your partner and then introduce yourself using Millie and Sandys conversation as a model . Step V Homework(作业)1. 熟读本课时所学内容, 用英语与人打招呼;2. 熟背漫画;3. 预习Reading .教学探讨与反思:本课时是整个初中课堂的第一课时,学生刚从小学升入初中,带着对初中生活的好奇和向往,他们通常比较稚嫩、好动、注意力不够集中等特点,因此必须要有新颖、多样化的教学才能吸引他们。本节课也是教师和学生初次见面的第一课,不仅学生和教师之间一无所知,部分学生之间也不是很熟悉,所以是老师与学生以及学生与学生之间一个相互认识的过程,所以让学生在一种轻松愉快的氛围
